  1. Also is my h100i, leds, fans, and commands pro dead?
  2. Is it still good to rma? Had it for about a year
  3. Ok thanks for confirming that... I had a drive plugged in... is that toast?
  4. So I recently rebuilt my system and I was missing a sata power cable. I, being the naive pc builder I am, plugged in an evga cord not knowing it mattered. I have a HX1000 Platinum and ever since I plugged in the cable my system powers up but doesn’t boot. Only the ram and motherboard lights would come on, nothing would spin and I’m lost on what to do. I haven’t tested the psu but I think I might’ve broken it... I ordered a new rm850 2019 or whatever but it hasn’t gotten here and I’m freaking out on what to do. My Asus Maximus 11 hero shows 00 on the g code readout and that doesn’t help me much. If anyone has an insight that would help. I have a 9700k, msi 3070, and asus mobo. Also a lot of cabling for my 8 ll120s and h100i and 4 rgb strips. Oh yeah, and I have cablemod cables.
  5. I have one monitor, it says no signal when I turn the pc on. I took out the cmos battery for 30 minutes then put it back. @paddy-stone
  6. Okay. It is an optiplex 3010, Core i5 3470, 4GB 1600mhz ram. No gpu. I reset the bios because there is a bios password I was trying to reset. @paddy-stone
  7. I have a m1h61r mb dell motherboard. Recently I reset the bios and now I need to flash the bios onto the motherboard. It does not display anything on screen but it did before. How do I flash the bios on a motherboard that doesn’t have a flash bios button? And that doesn’t display to a monitor.
  8. Also the pc doesn’t go to splash.
  9. I recently was given a windows 7 pro dell optiplex 3010. It worked completely fine it just has a password on the account. I accessed the bios to reset the hard drive. To change the bios settings there is a password needed. I looked up how to reset this password and I found two things. I could either take out CMOS battery for 10-15 minutes or use the clear password jumper. I tried both and when I turn the computer on now their is a solid yellow light on the motherboard. Does anybody know what that means? How can I fix this?
  10. That's what I though. I gave a $500 budget and I wanted an Asus strix monitor but I just can't find an Asus WQHD monitor.
  11. I am building a pc with an rtx 2080. I don't know what monitor to get. Is something like an FHD asus monitor with 240hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, and g-sync. Or should get something like an acer predator WQHD 144hz, 1 ms, Freesync/G-sync monitor. (Also, can't the 2080 take advantage of freesync?)
  12. Alright thanks. I’ll just take my time.
  13. I recently received a motherboard that I ordered from Newegg. It is an Asus ROG Strix Z390-E. It came with bent socket pins and Newegg will not repair it or take it back. I have already ruled out returning it to Asus. How can I fix these pins, and are they even needed for my I9-9900K?
  14. I'll go the splitter route seeing as how I'm not paying for this PC. Thank you for answering my question though. I have been looking for an answer for a while.
