  1. Just sad that every time I start my pc i have some ugly rainbow ram. I'll try updating the bios and seeing if that helps, if not i'm just stuck with my routine of opening the rgb controller every time i start my pc.?
  2. The cooler master 212 comes with thermal paste already so you wont need it, but if he would ever want to overclock the CPU he wouldn't be able to go with a super aggressive overclock. I have a 9600k with this cooler and have no complaints with it so far other than the oc capability. Other than that the build looks pretty solid.
  3. rx 580 will definitely bottleneck the system i'd go with a vega 64 or a 1070
  4. It's not just the rtx2060 that people are hating on its the whole rtx line Nvidia made this whole line overpriced, because they still had a s**t ton of inventory left of the 10 series, because they thought that cyrpto wouldn't crash as soon/ hard as it did. The problem is Nvidia also didn't discount their 10 series enough therefore leaving everyone mad and nvidia. The concept of rtx is cool, but with only few titles supporting it it is pretty stupid that nvidia can charge this much for a "future" that is still a couple years away (if developers even decide to support ray tracing) .Aslo AMD hasn't had a card that competes with the 1060/2060, but i've heard they're trying to start discounting the vega 64's.
  5. This question really depends on your personal preference on whether those 160 euros matter to you that much. I personally have the 9600k and i'm currently bottlenecked on fps by my gpu (Sapphire rx580 nitro+ special edition) not my cpu (only runs at 25% while gaming most of the time due to games not utilizing multiple cores) . So if you're not planning on doing any CPU intensive things (CAD, rendering) and just gaming I would go with a 9600k and just upgrade your gpu instead. That being said if price is not a worry then just go with the 9700k.
  6. Why would you play at 4k when you're gonna turn down the setting ?(no hate just wondering).
  7. Hi guys I built my first pc about two months ago and ever since then I have been having problems with my ram color settings saving using asrock polychrome sinc and with the G skill software. Whenever I set my ram color it will save but whenever I have to restart my pc the next day the ram will go back to the default rainbow. My pc is blue themed and the rainbow kind of annoys me, and its annoying to change it everytime i start my pc. Thanks for any help, pc noob needing help Specs I5-9600k cooler master 212 rgb black edition 2x8gb G skill trident rgb 3200mhz asrock z390 Extreme4 sapphire rx 580 nitro+ special edition NzXT h500i white
