  1. We had a power outage last month and I freaked out. It was an impulse buy. Super worth it though. Also, I already have a case. I just don't know much about it other than it's M-ATX.
  2. Yeah, it's just parts I've gathered along the past few months.
  3. With the following build, does anyone know of any fantastic motherboards that would be compatible with my CPU? Perhaps a cooler upgrade as well? I know almost zero things about motherboards. And yes, before you get angry...I DO have a plan to make all of the monitors the same. Thanks! 4. GPU load is at 100 percent, mem clock stays the same. Think I have a dead card. RIP.
  5. I turned GTA V to all normal settings, and its sitting at 36fps. It's not running super high in task manager, but I feel like my memory clock should be higher.
  6. It seems I have found the problem. The 1080 flies up to 90 percent after a minute in game. The memory clock is stuck at 405mhz. Fml.
  7. The CPU stays under 55 C in game, so that shouldn’t be an issue. I actually remounted it today when I upgraded the PSU. The cooler is a CoolerMaster Hyper 212. I also don’t OC the CPU as I don’t really have a need to at the moment. The cpu is well under load while gaming as is.
  8. Fans are spinning. The card is in the top slot.
  9. Have tried. Thank you for the suggestion though.
  10. Not at all. I have 3 monitors, and all are connected to the card.
  11. I am at my wits end. I have (what I think) is a fantastic gaming PC, but any game I throw at it is only getting 30fps. I have tried everything. Updated BIOS, reinstalled drivers, upgraded PSU (today), installed faster hard drives. Specs: i5-8600k 16gb DDR4 Corsair RBG Pro 3000mhz GTX 1080 why is this computer not doing more? Please. Send help. I am at the end of my rope. I just want to game. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/15893619
  12. I am using a Alienware Area 51 ALX from 2010, and have recently upgraded to a 1080 gpu. Is my i7-930 bottlenecking me too much, so that I need to replace my motherboard/cpu?
