  1. The tech in the Type 1 diabetes world is something I follow closely, as I have an interest in tech, and have T1D (T1D is an autoimmune disease, much more common than you might think). I asked about it on WAN Show and Dan told me to ask about it in video suggestions. It would be interesting to see a video about this. I bet companies would work with you, they love advertising. I don't really know what it would be about to be fair. There's a new company called Beta Bionics, their CEO is very public-facing. Maybe something with them? No clue. When I sent my MM I was kind of just hoping to see if you guys knew anything about that world, but a video would be great for the cause
  2. Is this actually a product that works? Amazon.com: WDFS Memory Adapter Card Accessory Electronic DDR3 Portable Home Computer Component 240 to 204P Test Laptop Desktop DIMM Connect: Home & Kitchen I have some sodimm memory laying around and I would like to be able to use it in a Dell XPS I use for a game server.
  3. I'm don't really care about the 7.1 sound. From what I have heard is just regular stereo is more accurate in games than the virtual 7.1. At least on the 752's But I could be wrong.
  4. So my Turtle Beach Elite Atlas's have been alright. With my new glasses they really cause a headache. I bought some SHP9500's with plans on getting a BoomPro. Unlike most people, I really didn't like them. They were itchy and put pressure on my glasses, and I wasn't crazy about the open back design. That's just me though. So far I've looked at the G Pro headset and the MH751's. No exactly sure lol. Looking to spend around $70 on headphones, but if they have an included a good mic I'd be willing to spend more. Thanks for the help!
  5. Def not ideal lol, but cheap. I'm thinking about trying to find an rx 560 and a8 6600k on ebay. I would think that wouldn't bottleneck the gpu too bad. I mean, either way, It's got to be 1000 times better than just the 6300 apu that's in their now, right?
  6. I don't think that would work without a mb upgrade. What about something like a Athlon X4 750? Or a a-8 6600k
  7. I have a 1500x and a 1060 6gb, I can run ftb revelation, it's a bit rough without optifine though.
  8. okay thanks. Also, would running a linux distro like ubuntu help?
  9. So I ended up with an old pc with 8gb of ddr3 ram and an AMD A4-6300 APU. Yeah... I know.. but I've got a friend that wants to basically be able to play some minecraft modpacks, 200+ mods. Maybe some csgo and other stuff. Anyways, what's the best RESONABLE graphics card I could add to this monster of a pc? lol, thanks for your help
  10. Hi, so I'm wanting to start folding and enter the event, but I'm not sure my internet is up to the task. My down is 3.8mbps and upload is less than 1mbps, averages about 650kbps with spikes up to 1 Mbps. Is this fast enough? (also, this has nothing to do with this but i keep getting this error: Receive error: 10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine Is this a thing on their end? if not how do I fix it?)
  11. So as of now i have an iPhone 7. And pretty much everyone in my family has one, which makes messaging easy. I want to switch to a Samsung note 9. But what's holding me back is having issues texting my family. Not everyone is the best with technology in my family, and using a different app like FaceBook Messanger might make thing confusing for some. So, my question is, does anyone have trouble sending messages back and fourth between and iPhone and a Samsung? Are there apps for andriods the make it possible to iMessage apple devices?
