  1. I'd like to know as well... I know Android tells you which codec is being used in the developer options but god knows about iOS. I imagine Sony will be defaulted to LDAC and the others are just hard to know probably aptX-HD. I went with Bowers and Wilkins PX. I love the build quality it's basically one of my favorite things about them. Sadly these days its been clamping on my ears too damn hard so I've been eyeing Sony's WH-1000XM3 in hopes they are more comfortable. Another thing is that in terms of ANR B&W PX doesn't fare as well even with changing the settings with the android app.
  2. I'll have to research a bit more obviously. I believe the battery is the same on both models. Probably more space on the 17". The reddit post I referenced is https://www.reddit.com/r/laptops/comments/aafhsd/overpowered_gaming_laptop_15_review_after_7/ but he didn't include how to upgrade the battery, and asking him directly hasn't net me an answer sadly. (the photo above is not mine but something I had to look for to get more data here) Thanks for the replies. I am aware of the battery shapes/sizes. The model of the laptop would be OP-LP3 (17 inch, vs the 15 referenced above)
  3. Hi LTT community, New here so I have no idea if I'm even posting in the right forum (feel free to move the thread to any other category). I... read on reddit that you can buy an aftermarket battery, preferrably 66Wh or anything that can really extend the battery life of the laptop with the least modifications possible (although I read you can remove the HDD casing as well and I think that was Luke on WAN if I'm not mistaken), anyhow I'm new at this. I do want to get that in the sense that the specs they are offering feels like great value(tm) already but I have no idea where to start with batteries. Never done it and I don't want to put just anything. So, if anyone's done it or know where to get more info, lemme know (or let us know to anyone else interested). I tried that google thingy where you write what you want and search that but either I'm stuck in a bubble or I'm just not getting any relevant results on my end... thus I ask y'all that are more knowledgeable than me on this.
