  1. Any type if spirit alcohol works, the idea is that you kill the bacteria with it.
  2. Intel is a very big sponsor for CS GO Coincidence? *tinfoil hat*
  3. Dont forget to copy your save games! You can wipe only the install disk which windows is on, C : by default or copy your games if they are on C : to another drive.
  4. Yup, but I think you still need installation media, you can get it for free on Microsoft's site. You will need a USB drive. https://www.microsoft.com/bg-bg/software-download/windows10 Its in Bulgarian sorry. Post here if you still have issues I'll get you covered.
  5. Thank you! And also yes all budget Acer laptops I have seen have inadequate cooling. And as I said I've installed extra heatsinks and when I use both the GPU and CPU on 100% in CS:GO the temps are 65-75ish at 2.8-3.1ghz! But yea go PC and no AMD Thank you
  6. No Video Card or is it just me? Which country is it, because prices can be very different. Dont rely just on a integrated gpu. As the other fellow said for CS GO and LoL its gonna be fine (if you have a separate video card)
  7. Its probably not a hardware problem. If it is (which I doubt) it may be memory that you cant test with memtest or by just trying each slot with each stick. But its probably a software issue
  8. Is modding the BIOS an option? And if the VRM can supply up to 44W for 3,4 secs does that mean it can do it all the time or is it just peak power
  9. So undervolting the dGPU wont give a performance boost for the CPU?
  10. Well I have an i7 and it's good enough for an gtx1060 or rx480 egpu. Its just that I want that juicy Cinebench score.
  11. Specific games? I know Intel CPUs are expensive but their single threaded performance is better than AMD's. Depends on the game. AMD CPU's benefit alot from RAM speeds, so keep that in mind. Also what Video Card are you going to use? Make sure your PSU has enough watts!
  12. And how was the Idle utilization? It seems to be a software issue. I suggest reinstalling windows or restoring it if you have a restore point. You cant try CS GO in safe mode but reinstalling Windows is the best thing that I can suggest. Or trying to figure out what software/driver/firmare made the problem in the first place. As I said this CPU should be capable.
  13. Can I ask if the dGPU (MX150) and the CPU have power supplied to them via the same VRM on the Aspire 5?
  14. Also did you try Safe Mode? if its a software issue it shouldnt persist in Safe Mode, check Cinebench and Task Manager in Safe mode, windows key + r type msconfig select safe mode Restart
  15. it should be higher, I see people getting from 450 to 550, its Cinebench R15 right?
  16. Last thing to try is reinstalling windows but try to run in safe mode and see the CPU usage if its okay its really a software issue.
  17. Did you use DDU? Check your BIOS for PCI-E settings, also have you tried other games? Run Cinebench and compare results it may be an unstable system.
  18. Graphics settings do NOT impact the CPU only the GPU, it may be driver releated or you need a BIOS update, I have a friend that has an 1700X and RTX2070 with the same problem. Update BIOS re-install 1050ti drivers
  19. Thank you! I saw your other answers on the same topic, keep up the good work!
