  1. Ok, so I didn't know where to post this. The monitor section is pretty dead so I figured I'd go here and see what kind of info I can gather. With my rig in sig, 5600x, rx6700xt, (Monitor) dell s2721dgf 11.1ms @60hz 1440p, (TV) Tcl 43s525 10.6ms @60hz 4k I'm getting crazy input lag on the tv using a wired xbox controller and cannot figure out why. Playing dead by daylight on pc on the tv the input lag is awful but it's fine on the monitor. If I use my series x on the same tv or monitor with DBD I have no issue at all. The goal here was to use the TV as a second screen for videos and web browsing and playing open world games on a bigger screen with a controller so i can kick back a little. Any help here would be appreciated. I've tried only having the tv hooked up to the pc with the same 2.1 hdmi cable that I use in the living room with my lg oled and the series x, 3 different hdmi 2.0 cables, using a wired controller, using mouse and keyboard
  2. @manikyath id prefer to do matching displays but I’d rather not spend $300+ on the same monitor to use for discord.
  3. Thanks. I didn’t know if I’d have an issue with different resolution or refresh rates. Now to find a reasonably priced monitor. Any suggestions ?
  4. Currently using a Dell s2721dgf for my gaming display but need another monitor for discord/YouTube and don’t know which route to go. Will I have issues if I go with a 1080p screen? I’ve never done multi monitor before so I’m clueless and any input would be a huge help.
  5. I hate seeing stuff like this. My friend once bought a $1100 65 inch tv from sams club, got home opened the box and it had a 43 inch junk Samsung tv in it. Had to call the police and it took forever for them to refund him because they said he switched the tv out.
  6. A friend asked me a question and I don’t have an answer, told them I’d ask on here and see what answers I get. They have a rx6700xt, a ryzen 3600, 16gb ram and use a 1440p monitor. If they are using Rsr, dropping the in game resolution to 1080p and using rsr to upscale it to 1440p they should be stressing the cpu more like they are playing on a 1080p monitor right? The issue is they aren’t happy with the fps they are getting at 1440p in some games so they are using rsr to boost it Would they benefit at all from a cpu upgrade like a ryzen 5600x ? They are playing league, valorant, tarkov
  7. You need a bigger mouse if you have big hands.
  8. I got a 6700xt for msrp, $512 with shipping and tax from amd direct. I mainly play older games so this should hold me over for a few years. I bought everything new this year and I’m gonna hold out at least 2 years with what I have now.
  9. @1080p I wouldn’t bother switching. 1440p I’d make the switch. The 3060ti is really close to a 3070 performance wise
  10. I’d be more worried about the psu than anything. What make and model is it?
  11. The motherboard is fine, what cpu are you using and what resolution monitor?
  12. Was wondering if the people here that own a Rx 6700xt are happy with the performance of the card or not ? I have one coming in now (paid msrp) that’s getting paired with a ryzen 5600x and a 1440p 165hz monitor.
  13. Got a 6700xt from the amd store yesterday and now I need to get a cpu, mobo and ram. This will be used for gaming only at 1440p with a Dell s2721dgf monitor. No streaming, encoding, photoshop. Looking for suggestions on what to get with $500, I live in the US, I can buy from Amazon or Best Buy. I’ve already got a be quiet 500dx case, 2 1tb wd blue nvme drives, 1 1tb wd blue mechanical drive, Corsair rmx 750 watt psu and 5 be quiet 140mm case fans. Any help would be appreciated
  14. I’ve had Corsair rgb pro ram be and before. Shit happens, rma it
  15. Amd has the reference rx6700xt in stock right now. I was able to order one for $512 with tax and shipping. Hurry and get one looks like it sold out. Hopefully some of you got one
  16. Got a gigabyte m32q for my sons ps5 and tested it out on my SX. Want to leave a post here about it Incase anyone is searching they can stumble upon this. The monitor is awesome. It's huge and it's pretty hefty. 1440p 120hz Vrr worked fine on this right out of the box. The speakers suck, they get loud so they'll work if you don't wanna do externals or use your headphones, typical monitor speakers here. Picture quality is really good, I'm impressed with this monitor. Very little blb in the top left of the screen. It's no where near as bad as any of the Asus ips monitors I've tried over the last 3 years. I play a lot of DBD and MLB the show. The black equalizer works really good and is easy to adjust using a hotkey with the monitors joystick in the back. This made it way easier to see things in DBD since the game is naturally so dark. The game looks very good on the series x, the picture is sharp and what little colors there are they do look good. MLB the show has been amazing on this monitor. The input lag is low, I keep swinging early on pitches, have to adjust my timing. Response time is also good, recognizing pitches out of the hand on this monitor is pretty easy to do. The game looks great, visually it's very crisp looking and the colors aren't dull. The monitor is huge, using the strike zone cam angle is great, you get a good size view of the zone. I haven't played any shooters on this yet but will try siege, vanguard, pub g and borderlands 3 on it when I get those tonight and update my thoughts on shooters and this monitor.
  17. The gigabyte M models have been great for me. I used a m27q that had the weird bgr pixel layout, everything else was great. Got a m32q for my sons ps5 this week and it's been awesome. No issues at all and use the RGB pixel layout. I just ordered the M32U for my series x today. It's a little pricey but every 4k 144hz monitor is. I think you'll be happy with the gigabyte they've been great for me
  18. No time soon, I just sold my 3070 for $1,000 locally without the box.
  19. They have two reviews ever and both of them are negative, you shouldn't have ordered from there
  20. I wouldn't worry about it. As long as it's not scratched up id be happy you actually got one
  21. The game isn't optimized well. I played the beta and it ran poorly, thought they figured it out. Got the game and it still ran poorly so I refunded it.
  22. I was so hyped to get this, after watching videos of it I passed. Rockstar really dropped the ball here
  23. What motherboard and cooler do you have? I'm guessing it's probably lower end since you have a 9400f.
