  1. Run the siege benchmark again and post the results. What resolution is your monitor? Also ultra settings in siege will tank your framerate.
  2. I didn’t even think of gamepass. The new ms flight simulator is on there too. Thanks for this. You saved me a bunch of money
  3. Recently got a monoprice dark matter 34 inch 3440x1440 monitor and love it. Currently playing DBD, siege, Cold War and rocket league. looking for suggestions of games that are immersive in ultrawide. I’ve got $200 to blow on games right now and I’m down to play anything if it’s a good game. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  4. @Ankerson That's exactly what I'm looking for, thank you
  5. Does anyone make a 8 pin to 8 pin? That's what I'm looking for. I know I can get a 8 pin to 6+2 pin, that's not what I'm looking for
  6. I want to get (2) 8pin only pci e cables instead of using the jank 6+2 pin with another 6+2 piggy backed on each cable. I have no clue where I should be looking for these cables and having to use 2 of these cables with the piggy backs is messy as hell looking. Any help would be appreciated. This is the first time I've done this so IDK what's the best route to go. Don't want to over pay and dont want to buy junk either. I dont need RGB or anything crazy, would be fine with all black or black and red cables
  7. You should be able to get a good deal on a used card if your ok going that route. I sold a 2080 super evga xc ultra for $500 shipped a week ago. At 1440p that card did a pretty good job.
  8. If you can even get the 3070, if so go for it. Newer games are getting demanding, go for it
  9. I did the (wait list) and was able to order my card on weds. I signed up for the (list) within 5 minutes of the cards going live at launch. I about crapped myself when I saw the email pop up from evga. Of course out of all the cards I signed up for the ftw3 was the only card I could get at $609 before tax and shipping. I did the cheapest shipping, had a $30 off coupon and still spent $635 in total.
  10. I had nothing but issues with that same model board. I sold it and went right back to a MSI one and had no issues at all
  11. Not trying to be a douche but that board sucks, i used one and sold it for half price
  12. I'd build the pc for the sole reason of you have to pay for PS+ to play online, that shit adds up over the years. If you want something plug and play for a tv the console is the way to go. The PS5 isn't bad, I bought one just for the exclusive games but play everything else on pc
  13. Doesn't matter you won't be able to buy it anyways. I'm sticking with my 2000 series card, I give up trying to get a new card with all this bot shit going on right now
  14. Spiderman, the show, god of war, uncharted, the last of us. I'm sure there are other games. The only thing I play on PS is mlb the show and hopefully it comes to pc this year
  15. Same as the viotek gnv34dbe also. Can you order from amazon?
  16. I went with the monoprice dark matter 34 inch 3440x1440 144hz for $450. So far I honestly have no complaints with it. Height, swivel and tilt adjustment, it’s my first va panel but I like it better than Tn. Way better colors, blacks are actually black, great contrast ratio, no ips glow slower than my old tn panel but it doesn’t bother me playing shooters at all. The monitor for me has been great. I used my buddies predator ultra wide and for the price difference I don’t think it’s worth it. For me at least
  17. I tested a bunch of stuff and gave the OP results to try to help them out with this. UWQHD to me is worth it 100%
  18. @TubbieTubs Told ya, you won't max out new games at 144fps but it will do the job.
  19. @TubbieTubs I just sent you a message
  20. I’d return it. Sure the response time input lag and blacks are great but the hdmi 2.1 isn’t ready for mainstream yet, oled doesn’t get bright enough for really good hdr content either. I have a hisense h9g 65 inch and bought a lg cx 55 and returned the lg. For $400 extra and 10 inches smaller I can’t support that TV
  21. Are you not happy with the cpu? For a 6 core 12 thread cpu that little thing kicks ass. Almost scores as high as my 10700k in multi core.
  22. I miss having a microcenter locally. Mine was 40 minutes away, no my closest is like 8 hours away.
  23. Viotek gft27db is what I use. It’s $279 on amazon. It’s 27 inch, 1440p, 144hz tn panel but very good colors for being tn. The problem with the viotek is the height, you’d have to get him a monitor arm so he could raise it higher. The stand is very short.
  24. Order it from amazon and if you don’t like it then send it back. That way you can physically use it instead of taking someone’s advice here. I think the qled Samsung monitors are overpriced for what you get.
