  1. A little update: After I plugge out the other 2 disks, I managed to install Windows on the m.2 ssd (this was the plan from the beginning) and then choose it as boot option 1. But I still cant find it the bios, but I guess that doesn't matter. What should I do next? Now my other ssd still have Windows on it. Will this be a problem or can I just connect it to the mobo again?
  2. Yes, I understand. The screw is not screwed all the way in and it lays pretty flat, so I dont think that is the issue.
  3. The other drivers are plugged in the lower SATA ports. I don't have a standoff below the screw, because I dont have one available right now. Why would this matter?
  4. Yes ofc. I have an Ryzen 5 2600

  9. Hello! So I'm building my dad a new pc, and I'm wondering if you guys have some opinions on what cpu to buy. He mainly uses it for desktop and multitasking, but also some gaming. His criteria for the hole build is that it's fast, quiet and can do some gaming. His bugdet is around 1800$. So the 3 cpu's I've looked at is: Ryzen 7 3700X Ryzen 7 3800X Intel i7-9700k The i7 would be the quickest, right? And would the 8 more threads even matter when he listen to music and check mail while browsing the internet? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For mobo I have no idea, but it should have be high quality with wifi, good soundcard, m.2 ssd, and handy features. OC and looks doesnt matter. Lets me know f you have any suggestions! Thanks for all help and answers!
  10. The gpu %usage is really low, and the fans arent even on.
  11. Hi! I'm getting huge frame drops while playing Metro Exodus. And also other games. My specs are: Cpu: i5-3470, 8gb of 1300MHz ram Gpu: RTX 2060 (possibly bying a new cpu this week) I was told that it would be a bottleneck, but I would be able so play with a little better performance until I bought a new cpu. So is it because of drivers, Windows update or the cpu, I have huge frame drops. I didnt experience them with my gtx 970 When I bought the rtx 2060 i didnt get much difference in fps compared to my gtx 970 (max 5-10), is this because of my cpu? Or could it be something wrong with ny rtx 2060?
  12. Hello! I'm looking to upgrade my cpu, mobo and ram. I'm paring it with a rtx 2060. Obviously I wanne spend as little money as possible (without getting a bottleneck ofc), but I'm willling to spend a little extra to get the perfect match for my rtx 2060. I'm looking to play modern games in 1440p. I only play games, don't stream or do video. So I've been looking at many different options: 430$ - i5-8400, 16gb of 3200mhz ram, asus rog strix B360 F-gaming 485$ - Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb of 3200mhz ram, asus rog strix B450 E-gaming 525$ - Ryzen 5 2600x, 16gb of 3200mhz ram, asus rog strix B450 E-gaming 585$ - i7-8700, 16gb of 3200mhz ram, asus rog strix B360 F-gaming 600$ - Ryzen 7 2700, 16gb of 3200mhz ram, asus rog strix B450 E-gaming 665$ - Ryzen 7 2700x, 16gb of 3200mhz ram, asus rog strix B450 E-gaming 720$ - i5-8600k, 16gb of 3200mhz ram, asus rog strix Z370 F-gaming + Corsair H100i cpu-cooler The reason for the Asus mobo's is because it's demo (around 35$cheaper) + 15% off. So what do you guys think would be a good match? I've been thinking about the i7-8700, because I've heard that Intel is better for gaming. But also one off the amd cpu's because of future upgrades with the 3rd gen series. Also the amd's would come with a better mobo. Or is the only difference between the F-gaming and E-gaming wireless wifi? Thanks for all opinions and suggestions!
  13. Hello! Im replacing my gtx 970 with a rtx 2060. The problem is: my mobo only have dvi-d and vga output, and I dont have these cables laying around at the moment. Do I have to get a dvi-d cable, or would I be able to install the new drivers while using my old gpu, then switch gpus?
  14. The ASUS Vega 56 is like 75$ cheaper, and The ASUS rtx 2060 is discounted so its same price as a evga
