Yup, disabled xmp profile yesterday and still no luck, could it be my monitors freesync. I enabled freesync for my monitor couple months ago so it's 75hz instead of 60hz. Edit: my CPU usage is same around 20%

will do, i just monitored some more using NZXT Cam and noticed when ever my frames drops my gpu usage is only going higher to 80-90%. keep in mind aswell that the scenes are not different considering freeplay is just driving around the stadium in circles yeah i knew that but somehow it fixed the issue for 6months and now the pc only wont boot if i shut down right after i get lag issue. it works fine if i start after awhile

No I don't, it's only been a year since I bought this pc. I used to have pc not booting up and giving black screen with no kB/m. It started occasional and happened frequent and I replaced CMOS battery and it fixed it for 6 months now. Whenever I shut down pc when I'm having this lag issue and turn it on instantly it gives me the old issue again. And I have to try couple of times later to turn it on.

Should correct this, I meant 65-70c while playing rocket league, idle temps are 40c

Temps are fine imo, its 65-70c. Considering its 2060 FE I think that's normal

It's not only happening in games cuz as I was posting this thread my pc was lagging like hell and kept showing no display for few seconds and comes back and still laggy

apparently this is quite common for gta v, my friend who has 1060 also has this issue

recently i've been getting random fps drops out of nowhere, rocket league fps drops from 250 to 30 and it lags like hell. i try to alt tab and everything is so laggy even tho GPU/CPU temps are fine and task manager shows everything low usage. and all of sudden it just freezes and display gives no signal for 2 seconds and it comes back getting better. been having the fps drops issue for 2 months now but occasionally and now it happens every day. what could this be?

can a bad or dead CMOS battery cause this?

wellll now its back again, it worked fine yesterday and now this morning, its back to VGA led.

okay apparently the problem was the Pc standing still. i put the pc on sideways and now it works normally, im losin my brain cells

aight i dont get this, i put the pc down and open it up. i removed the RAM sticks and put one and tried to turn it on. it worked. i put the second one and it worked aswell. i put the lid on and put it back to where it was and now it shows VGA led and black screen. this freaking makes no sense

aight, i used a screwdriver for jumper and idk if it reset the cmos or not. i tried to tighten the wires and RAM. turned it back on, it turned on and turned off itself several times. i turned off the switch and tried again later. it turned on and off and on again and it stayed there, this time the led lights on DRAM and CPU.

i had this issue before where i turn on the pc and everything turns on but there's no signal on monitor, no kbm or mouse. but later it fixes by itself. now i got that problem again, i turn the pc on every morning, it works fine. i turn it off in evening and try to turn on 2hrs later and it wont turn on. but it works next morning. but not it still wont work. i noticed this time that there's ez debug light on vga

So it was fixed later by itself, but this issue keeps coming back, I wake up in the morning and it works fine, then I shut it off at evening and try to turn on at night but it won't work. The next morning it's fine again

i rarely used it when i played that specific game then i noticed high temps and started usin msi afterburner and it kept crashin when i alt tab. but it got fixed on the next update

so i thought it was the slot problem and i reseated the RAM, now the pc wont even turn on, i dont know what the heck is happening. i seriously need help

i checked task manager and it shows this. it says 2 out of 4 slots used and says 16 on top but its 8. also the speed now shows 2400mhz instead of 2999, i guess somehow it got reset in bios. Help would be appreciated
