  1. I immediately recoiled in horror the second I read this
  2. If true, that's kinda wild, in the UK joining a union is actively encouraged, suppose it's a cultural difference
  3. Probably not, although I could use the knowledge I have now to make a lot of money, IE bitcoin, lottery etc. I'm pretty happy with my life, so I wouldn't really want to risk that by changing anything in my past
  4. The best place to get help with this kind of thing would be a professional therapist. People on the forum likely have varied experiences with therapy, I myself have been through it, and it helped me massively. Work was getting on top of me, and I couldn't process what was happening to me. Therapy helped me talk to my closest friends and family openly and honestly. I would advise speaking to a therapist, but if you're not interested in going to therapy, an excellent start is to talk to your support network—family, friends, etc. Just remember you're not burdening them by asking for help. They're your family and are there to help you.
  5. Hope the team can get this sorted out, just shows it's a matter of when not if, when it comes to getting hacked!
  6. Could be that the 2080 ti could've been damaged when not mounted correctly Is it still under warranty? Play dumb and just say it won't work
  7. Have you got any other devices to check your wi-fi stability? There are ping apps on apple store + play store. I'd run ping 8.8.8.8 -t in CMD on another device and see if when the network performance drop happens on your PC that it happens or doesn't happen on your other device. We just want to rule out your router basically.
  8. I'd rule out physical damage first then, go over everything, even components you might not of touched. ESD is rare these days but can still happen
  9. Do you have your own website? A good idea would be to get a basic poster setup with a QR code linked to your website. People are addicted to scanning QR codes. Then put the posters around where you live; ask shops/cafe etc. if you can put your poster up on their window. Put them on bus stops, anywhere many people go to or pass by.
  10. It seems that the issue might be related to discord somehow. Have you tried playing online with Discord closed? -edit- As well as trying that, i'd also update your BIOS as well.
  11. The video doesn't work While doing the maintenance did any of the parts get physically damaged?
  12. Seems like there is a slight issue with AMD RX 570 dropping frames sometimes. Open device manager and disable the GPU. Once disabled, re-enable the card. See how you get on.
  13. ahh ok, the last thing i'd try is within diskpart, select the relevant disk and run Clean All, and then try to create your partition, also try creating it without specifying a size e.g. Create Part Pri If after this it still doesn't work I'd say the drive is damaged and probably unusable
  14. How was it broken? Sorry for the 20 questions, it'd be important to know though if it's been dropped or if the screen had been broken by someone leaving a pen on the keyboard and closing the lip for example.
  15. MFW we're assisting in a top-secret espionage mission
  16. Could be that the drive itself is damaged, how was the laptop broken? If it was dropped there is a high chance that the drive is dead
