$2,500? If it is my parents, they won't buy me that even if I have the exam score to enter Havard.

Not caring about your safety at all, I doubt it will burn your place down.  Tho you being a badass from Bulgaria...  that's an interesting self-promotion.

I'm more of the school of thought that a little time and energy (which it looks like you did to jury rig that thing already) could be used to make it look 100% better.  It's one thing to be all innovative and don't let something like being poor or having a shitty prebuilt stop you from gaming, that I can admire.

It's that there really isn't any excuse for not doing it in a way that it accomplishes your goal and isn't a mess.

You made an ugly mess and want some sort of street cred for it.  And you got it it looks like.  Boggles my mind.

Like I said, I admire that you did it, but ya half-assed it.

    No need to be rude.
I would start by first welcoming you to the forum and suggesting you read our Community Standards

Now that we've got that out of the way, do you have some kind of space or airflow constraint that requires a liquid cooler? If not, a high end air cooler will be a much better option for you.

The Adata or the 850 EVO is fine, I've used Adata for boot/OS a few times over the years. No issues.  Obviously I use Samsung drives in my personal machine.

Honestly, the best thing to do is RMA the current drive and use the refurbished one they send you.  No monies.

But if you want to spend monies, taking into consideration your needs, I'd buy a 500GB SSD and be done.  Sell the SSDHDHDHDD thing.

Instead of using ALL of those drives, you could buy one (or two) of these and just clone all your other drives to it. They’re a bit chunky in price though...

I still need to tidy up the wiring a bit (especially the Oculus sensor wires) and I'm waiting for my DP to VGA adapter for the second monitor. Finally, I want to install retropie on my pi zero and buy a wireless controller for some retro gaming goodness!
