mine pin at 60 on low spec games, it will dip if there is some intence stuff going on but otherwise will go back to 60 only. the 144hz works on the desktop and while watching movies i think, only in games it fucks up.

Having a similar issue, seems like a bunch of my games aren't running at 144 hz, even retro titles seem capped. I looked through all the settings on my NVidia control panel and it seems like I should have the refresh rate set correctly, and variable refresh rate enabled. v-sync disabled. drivers are updated. in game settings are good. also dealing with with black outs? like, depending on the game, usually more intense once, the screen will just cut out for 3ish seconds and the go back on. then happen again in a few minutes.

actually seems like the issue was that i was in a full screen windowed mode, changed to just full screen and that seems better. not sure how it will be on other games but ill give it a try when i can! thanks for the tip!

So, recently, while gaming my screen has been blacking out for a second, every 30-60 seconds, cant figure out why, my temps are good, no over clock in my card, drivers are up to date, fans are working. i reseated my card, checked drivers, checked my cables, everything seems fine. has anyone run into this issue before? System info included

So I recently upgraded my PC, it had had any issues then but as of a week ago I've been getting weird things going on. The first thing to happen was after booting up my system would run fine for 5ish minutes then lock up for five then be fine for the rest if the day. Now however I've been encountering were it doesn't unlock and as of just today it has been 'pausing' every 30 seconds or so. I haven't gotten any Bsod from it and I can't see any errors showing up in event viewer. Temps and usage precentages are normal and all my programs seem to be running fine? Any help you fine people could provide would be a godsend. RN I'm reseating all my components and going to be reinstalling windows and then if none of that helps possibly a antivirus boot scan. Thanks!

No dice famaquad it's micro b on the drive.

So, I have a spare external hard drive that I don't use for anything other then a backup and id like to have it inside my tower so it isn't taking up a USB port. Does anybody know of a micro b 3.0 male to sata & power adapter? Other ideas are welcome but it seems like for now I'm going to have to just keep it a a USB drive.
