  1. This GPU is around £400, that is way to much! Thats why I am looking at these lower price points
  2. But the vega 56 VS RX 580 = +61% Vega: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-RX-580-vs-AMD-RX-Vega-56/3923vs3938 and the 2600x will be bottlenecked by the RX 580: https://pc-builds.com/calculator/Ryzen_5_2600X/Radeon_RX_580/0Qb0Yg28/24/ What should I do? Edit: Also the 2600 and m/b I was looking out was in a bundle but is now out of stock but I have found this: https://www.ebuyer.com/882582-powercolor-amd-rx-580-graphics-card-with-ryzen-5-2600x-processor-bundle-axrx580-8gbd5-3dhdv2-oc-2600x which is the same m/b with a 2600X AND RX 580. Would this be worth it? I know the motherboard is good as well as the CPU (not much difference from the 2600) but is it worth it, to get THIS gpu rather than this: SAME M/B bundled with 2600X: https://www.ebuyer.com/882579-msi-b450-gaming-plus-motherboard-with-ryzen-5-2600x-processor-bundle-b450-gaming-plus-2600x and an Vega 56 seperate: https://www.ebuyer.com/821669-msi-radeon-rx-vega-56-air-boost-8gb-oc-graphics-card-rx-vega-56-air-boost-8g-oc

  7. Understood. I will stick with the 2600. Thank You
  8. I don't understand. I didn't say anything about my hard drives?
  9. @lee32uk @AvogadrosDog @Oalei @fasauceome Because the 3600 is way too expensive (£180ish) do you know anywhere cheaper I can buy it or would you guys recommend a different 3000 series chip I could/should use? I was looking at the 3400G but I have heard that using a discrete gpu with an apu isnt good, however i'm not sure about this. https://www.ebuyer.com/883795-amd-ryzen-5-3400g-am4-processor-with-radeon-rx-vega-11-graphics-yd3400c5fhbox
  10. I have been looking around for deals, I normally purchase my hardware from a site named Ebuyer UK. I have found this 'deal'; https://www.ebuyer.com/882580-msi-b450-gaming-plus-motherboard-with-ryzen-5-2600-processor-bundle-b450-gaming-plus-2600 I don't really know if this is worth it. Also I really can't go for a 3000 series processor, atleast not the 3600, right now anyways. It will mean I have to limit expenses on other hardware, unless advised otherwise.
  11. Okay, I can take a look at these however I don't need a motherboard that allows me to flash the bios without a cpu as AMD, as @AvogadrosDog stated, does offer a boot kit which, of course I will have to send back once I am done with.
  12. that sounds much more like it! I would love to hear about the cheaper options! Also how do you know if a board has crap VRMs? Many Thanks!!
  13. ermmm, a 1tb ssd will cost a LOTTA money xd. Guess its the long route...
  14. Hey! Okay, straight to business, my pc runs of 2 hdd's they are both 1tb seagate barracuda (one black, one green). The way I have my hard drives set up is, my primary (C drive) is used for OS and day to day apps, such as, firefox, visual studio, etc. my secondary (D drive) is used for games, games and uhhh, games... I have recently found this ssd; https://www.ebuyer.com/755733-pny-cs900-240gb-solid-state-drive-ssd7cs900-240-pb and need help on how to migrate my operating system (windows 10) to the SSD without losing all my application on my primary hard drive. Is there a way to do this/tutorial? Any help is extremely appreciated!
  15. @lee32uk huh? I was told by @WebPlayz that: What motherboard do I look at?
  16. Comparing this; https://www.ebuyer.com/834562-msi-x470-gaming-pro-am4-ddr4-atx-motherboard-x470-gaming-pro?mkwid=s_dc&pcrid=51482416499&pkw=&pmt=&gclid=Cj0KCQjwyLDpBRCxARIsAEENsrIudHYWgbN4nIYXy7sScXkBdy6cdzRHUAX5xHJU_MWIKF-UMbf2vvwaAvenEALw_wcB to the one you have recommended is there a huge difference? Also, are there any cheaper boards, (Damn, I feel so cheap reading this...) are there any cheaper boards you could recommend. I don't care about how they look only performance. I can add some sprinkles and glitter, true LTT style. Maybe even wrap some christmas lights around my pc case (literally) (meme'd from Scrapyard wars) P.S. I'm not going to add, sprikles, glitter or christmas lights, lmao. But tbh I don't care about the GAMING colours on the board or anything just that it performs well and is worth the money. Many Thanks
  17. Okay, I understand where you are coming from, but wouldn't I have to get a new motherboard as well. To support to ryzen 3000?
  18. @fasauceome The model is ATX-500B, this looks like it; https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Builder-Series-500watt-500-Watt-500w-ATX-Power-Supply-PSU-SATA-Black-UK/22031289118?iid=264393671924&chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=264393671924&targetid=520169503819&device=c&adtype=pla&googleloc=9046612&poi=&campaignid=1782815733&adgroupid=70885937202&rlsatarget=pla-520169503819&abcId=1139356&merchantid=7267774&gclid=Cj0KCQjwyLDpBRCxARIsAEENsrIK3s9HTLN1jMECeoq8zaw3yhPeaevuiaF0pncs9QcxwBZbsV4mMSsaAp0DEALw_wcB it has a green sticker on it (mine)
  19. but the thing is, thats almost £200 where as the 2600x is £160
  20. ermmm, well I currently have my 2200g overclocked to 3.9ghz over 1.4 volts from the base clock of 3.5ghz How far would I be able to push the 2600, would you say?

  22. I still require a laptop for college and am currently using a laptop that is used by 5 other people in my house (brothers, sisters, mother). But I can wait however I would rather get the laptop around mid 2020 latest as I would need to upgrade/expand it (hdd, ram etc) and make sure any problems/kinks are figured out as many come with electronics.
  23. Hello Fellow LTT Forum Users, I am currently looking at laptops to buy. I am currently in college studying computer science and will be heading off to uni in 2021 and would like to make sure I am prepared tech-wise. I will be studying cyber security and networking in college as well as working on programming and of course gaming here and there. I am looking at budget laptops for around £500, i'm in England, I have seen some laptops such as intel i5 with intel 620 graphics but i'm 99% sure I couldn't even open r6 on that yet I see them on "Budget laptop" tech review websites. I am unsure on whether to get an AMD laptop with vega 8/10, etc graphics or an intel laptop with nvidia (MX150, etc) graphics as I don't want to spend to much and most laptops come with 250gb ssd's and would like to add a hdd for extra space as well as upgrading the ram as they also, normally come with 8gb ram and would like to get that upto 16gb (hence why I am looking and wish to purchase now to get the money and correct parts to upgrade/expand). Are there any recommendations for whether I should get an Intel laptop or AMD. Are there any recommended laptops I should look at? My budget isn't FIXED at £500 but I don't want to spend too much. Many Thanks! ~Andrew
