    @MrFixitBlankFace from the task manager, he can go to the "Startup" tab and disable it from there. It's not a critical application and isn't really needed, so it's also safe to uninstall.

    Looks like 'hackers' were able to access one of NordVPN's rented servers without requiring any authorization. They say that while no logs were leaked, it was possible for someone to pretend to be a NordVPN server and collect data that way
     
     
    As usual, this is the fault of a third party, they found out about it a whole ago but wanted to make sure that they were fully secure before a public announcement.
     
    I personally find it quite scary that a company can go around saying they keep your data safe and secure, but rent out servers with security issues that they didn't know about!

    Then tell him "good luck" and walk away.
     
    If he's paying, then explain that you can't guaranty anything if you're not given access to the PC ... but this issue isn't related to the BIOS, so either way, you can't help him if he doesn't let you help.
     
     
     
    Also ;
    Open Task Manager ;
    on the Process tab, right click the un-named software and select "Open file location"
     
    That will open the folder where it is and select the executable file. Go from there.

    I've been getting "Are you sure?" pop ups without any context, or like 20 sec after reacting to a message
     
    literally just "Are you sure?" with an ok button

    Also, if the british colonel wants me to hit F12, it won't work because frick managed chromebooks
     
    i had all my plugins and extensions disabled, but that didn't make a difference so i kept some on
