  1. AMP is just the oc'ed version I have a regular Zotac 770 that is bios modded. Zotac is "RUN" by pcpartner which you might be familiar with as Sapphire. The card runs almost completly silent and cools exceptionally for being quiet, maybe some vapor-x tech there but also you will usually get like a 5 year or 3 year warranty and I've seen where they even give you a better card if your's breaks. In my opinion they are an outstanding brand along with sapphire for the radeon counter-part. 10/10 Would Recomend !!!
  2. Is your asus 770 a 4gb version by any chance ?
  3. IDK this isn't super reliable as you can shop it to get above some one or a slightly better score. Just my opinion BTW this isn't an entry if ya didn't know lol, Just be aware of this.
  4. I used kepler bios tweaker and Nvflash in DOS to boost stock clocks and boost clocks/Fan percentage on my zotac 770. Unless you physically modify the card I don't think you can go over 1.212v as keplers (idk which ones) have a resistor but i'm not sure as sometimes my gigabyte 770 will say 1.22v P.S. It's also pretty safe to flash a GPU atleast in DOS so aslong as you follow a guide and try to have the same firmware name and dont force flash it you should be fine youll have to reinstall drivers sometimes after flashing just incase. also make sure you have a backup GPU incase you brick it so you can reflash it and unbrickify it.
  5. Your voltage is a little silly I run 1.285v-1.3v when I OC to 4.8ghz maxxes out around 70c, for 4.6ghz 1.27v-1.28v is fine (for me atleast) P.S. It's cold in my room
  6. Welp ive flashed my zotac with the same clocks and boost as the gigabyte windforce oc and even gave it 15 percent more max fan speed.
  7. I dont want overvoltage i just want to sync the core clock to my gigabyte and boost ratio. also I can do 1.23 on my gigabyte.
  8. Indeed it is SHHHH don't tell anyone, i'll just reflash with origional bios, if the card randomly dies that would be crazy no way that will happen though I doubt theres much I can break not like im overvolting to 1.7V
  9. Ive had my zotac and gigabyte GTX 770's for a while and it always annoys me that I can never sync the core clocks as the gigabyte has higher boost. So I was wondering is there any good bios mod utilities and if so how can I flash the card(s) after I modify a bios file  ???
  10. 2gb is good if your playing just base games (UNMODDED) but in skyrim and other modable games 2gb will run out QUICK and new games use quite alot of vram so it doesnt hurt to future proof ram.
  11. My Twin GTX 770 4gb Because They are silly OC'able, quiet, and cool I've had one stable @ 1400/2000 and both stable @ 1337/2000 also I like them because they were cheaper than the competition and still are. second to that are my Dual 270x's. However I will switch to Radeon on my primary pc in a few years.
  12. That 550w is cutting it close and with a high intake amd cpu that doesnt help a 750w would be good here. also try CCleaner and CCC to completly wipe all drivers.
  13. You could get a 680 and flash it with a 770 bios and underclock a little bit till stable and have near 770 performance for less.
  14. A 7704gb version is a good choice considering price inflamation on Radeon cards and it will run with the best of them in the long run, you can also sli at a later point if you want.
  15. I have two 4gb 770s = amazing, 2gb is definitely almost a bottleneck in todays big games excluding COD, because fish. I don't recommend "multi-carding" for lower end cards as they can be problematic (in some cases) but a 770 4gb and later sli is a great way to save money and stomp every single gpu card as of today.
  16. Most people around where I live look at sli. 770 and 760 seem to be the favorite around here if they can afford it if not its usually 270x. and to be honest 770 sli will be high end for around 2 more years.
  17. Febuary for notebooks probably just a rebadge. 8xx for desktop won't be until Q3-ish and the only cards that will be better than a 780ti will probably be the 880 and 880ti if thats a thing.
  18. Wow some people who actually have the same opinion as me, yes it will use more than 2GB maybe even 3GB, not worthless at all. Sick of people putting people down saying they bought a worthless card because of the memory bus I belive these people are just mad that they didn't have the awesome idea to get double the vram. 2gb 670 in skyrim with shaders and 200+ mods = Stutter. 4gb 670 in skyrim with shaders and 200+ mods = Silky
  19. Yes BF4 is quite weird I get amazing fps with two 770's I some times even reach the 200 max fps limit, but I get lower than what one 270x would do on both of my 270x's in crossfire its a really badly optimized game but you cant blame them however they were rushed to finish the game by EA. Splintercell blacklist and Batman arkham origins are pretty good for testing Nvidia cards atleast. and crysis 3 if your running just a single Nvidia card.
  20. on a base clocked single card ive used 3.3 gigs. I hardly call half a gig small.
  21. OHH boy more VRAM talk, it may not be able to use all 4 gigs but uses a gig or more from the original 2gb card and when you SLI it will use most or all of the Vram I have twin 4gb 770s one gigabyte and one zotac. The extra two gigs is worth it espessially when you get a hi res monitor you wont have to upgrade much other than sli.
  22. Good shaders hi-def armors some war mods and lighting but no texture mods that will get you stuttering as it does on my 270x on my 770's however I have about 230 mods 4k textures, max shaders, ect. It uses about 2.4 gigs max.
