  1. for the extra ~£80 are you not better of just going for the 9900k as it has double the thread count of the 9700k?
  2. Goto SPD tab and you will see Slot 1 and Slot 2 on a drop-down box to the left. Take screenshots of them.
  3. Its base clock is 3.6Ghz with a boost clock speed of UPTO 5Ghz so it can be anything in between depending on workload/temperatures etc.....
  4. Any particular 2060 model? Scan have one in stock at £330
  5. Then tell him you're not building it until you have a budget.
  6. What PSU are you using? I'd also look into something like an RX 570 as an alternative graphics card.
  7. Personally i would just get new memory rather than using slower memory that's just kicking about. Even if you just started with a new 8GB Kit. I'd also agree with @Turtle Rig and get an SSD. Couped with an HDD It's worth it for the long run.
  8. I would also recommend going for a Ryzen 3 2200G over the 1200 as it will only be like an extra £20. I would also conisder upgrading your RAM to atleast 2600Mhz as Ryzen works better with faster memory.
  9. Your CMOS battery is more than likely dead. Pop it out and change it over and see if that fixes it. Bare in mind when you do change it the system will cycle twice for the fresh battery. Then it shouldn't do it again.
  10. What type is the motherboard?? Are you sure it's DDR3 and not DDR4??
  11. Well did you look at the specs of your motherboard? It only has 2 chassis fan headers so you're going to be putting 6 fans onto 2 headers. Not counting the fan header for your CPU.
  12. Who's Linus?? ? Why hasn't anyone posted that little funny bit yet? However i do watch some part of LTT every day. Whether it be Techquickie etc.....
