THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING. IT STRAINS MY EYES SO MUCH LESS EVEN WITH THE SITE ZOOMED AT 120% ON A 27" 1440 MONITOR. Following along large paragraphs is a lot easier.

    Summary
-This is Not an April Fools Joke-

AT&T, one of the Big Three Cellular Network providers as well as internet to millions of Americans, announced that a dark web database was released containing 7.3M active AT&T users and 65M inactive users. Most concerning is the leak of Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

    My thoughts
First AT&T had the major service outage, and now a massive breach of personal data. While the data is speculated to be from 2021, it is unknown how far back the data extends, so customers who switched form AT&T back in 2018 (Hi, hello, its me) could still be affected. Admittedly I was part of a family plan so my SSN should be safe(r).

As a reminder, using both a 2FA app like Google Authenticator as well as a Password manager are some of the best ways you can protect yourself in the digital world we now live in, which feels almost inevitable that our data will be at some point compromised.

Yes, it counts in that situation.

It has to be at least one of the parents of the child is a citizen, that's where "By Blood" comes into play.
If not, then it doesn't happen.

If one isn't a citizen and is one of the child's biological parents, yet the other is a parent of the child but is also a step-parent to the child, that doesn't count since it's not "By Blood" concerning both parents of the child.

If the child was born on U.S. soil that does count though inspite of the situation of their parents, step-parent or not.

Nah, that's just part of the new caching algorithm introduced as part of the new update. It takes a while for certain assets to cache across the multi-dimensional Content Discombobulation Neutering (CDN) system. Now that caching has completed, the forums load 900% faster!

More scummy phone photos of the pristine FX 1800 (G94 die, same as 9600GT/9800m). It still has under 100hr of usage, still the cleanest, shiniest 9000-series card out there. Funny to compare it to the beat-up ones on eBay.

Tomorrow or the next day I'll have a great deal more old video cards to post; 17 untested cards from '06-10 are arriving. Two 9800 GX2, FireGL v7200 (single slot Radeon X1800), and a pair of HIS 4850 cards among others (mostly high end GeForce). Hope I get some nice working cards out of it.

I've seen better cable management but I have certainly seen worse.

    Specs and stuff:
AMD 5900x Asus ROG Strix x570-E Gaming Gigabte RTx 3080 Gaming OC 10G 32GB Patriot Viper DDR4 Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240L NZXT H510 1TB samsung 970 EVO Plus 6TB total of spinning rust Elgato 4k60 Pro Mk2 27" Gigabyte 1440p 170Hz monitor 24" Acer secondary monitor XP Pen Artist Pro 15.6 AKG K702 headphones Rode NT1A that runs into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Gen2 Also featured is my Switch, Valve Index, one of my cameras, a couple of fountain pens and a doodle.

    The work setup:
To be honest I do not want to list out EVERYTHING since there is a lot of stuff. Also I have spent some time this year drastically streamlining the setup for better single-operator use since it's typically just me having to look after the place solo.
Some of the standout bits and bobs though:
Yamaha QL5 4x Blackmagic Studio cameras Various bits of rack mounted Blackmagic hardware include ATEM switches and Videohubs Blackmagic ATEM 1M/E Advanced Panel Not enough Stream Decks that I use Bitfocus Companion with A LOT of lights, most of which can be controlled by DMX A bunch of other stuff.... There's a lot I can talk at length about broadcast kit so I am MORE than happy to answer questions on it. If money was no object, I would love an Ultimatte to include in the setup somewhere for experimenting with more virtual set stuff. The ATEM switch does have keying tools but more toys are always cool.

It staggers me how far we've come with IEMs/earphones.

Picked these up for $44 (usually $50~55), during the recent aliexpress sale.

They have 14.2mm planar magnetic drivers, and while fit and finish is a bit rough, the cable they come with is a beautiful silver plated copper braided cable, and is replacable/non-proprietary (4.4mm TRRRS jack, but also available as a normal 3.5mm TRS).

It's got a W-shaped curve tune, which I find a bit intense at higher volumes, but is generally very well done. If you're a bass head, give it a bit more sub bass on an EQ (or turn on a bass boost), and it'll punch very hard and fast, just like any good planar does. Just an incredibly detailed, energetic sound. Especially if your hearing's getting a little weaker, I think these'll let you hear frequencies you haven't in a while.

Bloody hell, you used to have to pay in the $600~1000 for this kind of sound, only half a decade or so ago.

And they're easy to drive, almost anything should be able to, although they do get better with more power.

Oh, they're called the Artti T10. The tips they come with aren't great, I like Acoustune AET06, which you can also get on Ali.

Brought along an old friend while traveling for a few days.
Excuse the poor quality photos, my phone camera is truly horrendous.

This was the first 'retro' system I picked up three years or so ago. Had a rather bad CPU but a decent Gigabyte motherboard and RAM, so I stuck with it. Bought an Athlon 64 x2 6000+ for it 2 years back and that chip is quite the beast.

It ran a GeForce 6800 for most of its time with me until recently, when I acquired a new-old-stock Quadro FX 1800. It's still very surreal seeing a card of this era still pristinely shiny and free of dust and scratches.

GPU still has under 24 hours of use but that's about to change tomorrow.

The Airport put out an official statement saying they have no such capability, and that is true. Basically none of them do. Public free wifi can't do that unless they are doing something any device will literally warn about and give you many security messages stating that you have to do/allow something otherwise no HTPPS connections will work.

They can block yes, snoop on HTTPS (basically everything now days) no.

Hey all, as a bunch of you have requested, here's a BoM for the the final version of the Deej controller that we show in the video. I've picked examples that are on the low end of the price scale, but I'd always encourage shopping around for the best deal!

More instructions can be found on the Deej project page at https://github.com/omriharel/deej with the table of contents starting here: https://github.com/omriharel/deej?tab=readme-ov-file#table-of-contents

Deej also has an active discord server full of very helpful folks here:  https://discord.gg/nf88NJu

With that out of the way, here's what we used:

Enclosure - STL files are on the OP - note that the opening for the USB jack was designed pretty tight and not all cables will fit. You might want to tweak the model to give a little more room, or sand it down a little after printing. We used about 250g of Prusament PLA Prusa Galaxy Black https://lmg.gg/NlhQu

Microcontroller - Generic Arduino 'pro micro' clone based on the ATMEGA32U4. There's still a ton of out there with USB micro jacks on them, so search for "TYPE-C ATMEGA32U4"
Should look like this, though colors vary:
    Examples
        eBay:  https://ebay.us/EUvhmJ
        AliExpress: https://lmg.gg/Ljtk6

Wiring - Any sort of hookup wire is fine, but Dupont style jumper wires are a nice option. Buy a mixed pack and you'll have plenty of wires for this and future projects!  Search for:  "Dupont Jumper"

    Example: https://geni.us/TUDhou

Potentiometers - We used B10K pots that come on their own little boards for easy mounting. It can be tricky to find a good price on these, so take your time when searching!  Search for:   "B10K potentiometer slider"

    Examples
eBay: (10K Linear Slide Potentiometer) https://ebay.us/CFbOG2
        AliExpress: (Single Sliding 10k) https://lmg.gg/tXR1z

They should absolutely be charged. They don't know it's a joke, they acted, which cost the fees it did.

Only an idiot "jokes" about that in an airport.

Simple case of fuck around and find out.
