gtx 295 is actually funny, I have the 275 and these cards were like the flagships of the time so they are actually not that bad for light gaming i was really impressed by mine lol -

I built my brothers PC and... get ready for this... my friend sold me a mini ITX mobo (which are insanly tiny by the way) and I already had a FULL ATX case so, if your wondering what happens when you try to build a PC with a mini itx mobo and a full tower case, S##T HAPPENS. so yeah, my PSU is being held up some card games, and the power cord is going through a graphics cards IO slot it also looks so ####ing ugly omg -

RAM cost vs benefit 1440p gaming

thanks for all this feedback guys! also, I was wondering about how TVs are always glossy, would this affect gaming too? -
I am looking to buy a new monitor for the new PC I am going to build soon. I am leaning towards 1440p at a high refresh rate. I noticed when I was online shopping, that 4K TV's are cheaper than 1440p 144hz Monitors. Now the cheapest 1440p monitor I could find was about $300. The cheapest 4K I could find was $210 (43inch). My desk is large and I can put a tv in the very back instead of a monitor, so I don't see what would stop me from doing this except that the TVs are suspiciously cheaper, and I don't know a lot of people who PC game on large TVs. Also, for a little more money, I could get a 4K 120hz TV... which I thought was impossible because 4K really only goes up to 60HZ on monitors. Is this just because of the PPI then?? thx

wow! thanks for the in depth resonse, I never would have thought about rgb keyboards that way, and its true, when I was on my pc, 20% of the time I was just staring at it mindlessly cuz it was the coolest thing I owned cool, when I built my pc it was at the peak of cryptoming, so I was kind of forced to use used parts, and everything worked great, although, one of my ram sticks died and caused a whole bunch of problems. I don't think I baught it that way but you never know So when you originally built/bought this, what games were you hoping to play with it, and, do you ever feel the need to upgrade because you really want to play a new particular game? I, personally, am waiting until the prices have gon down a little bit more to build my next PC (I sold my first one). I have noticed ram prices get lower by the week so I hope I am heading in the right direction. thx

its funny u mentioned that, right now, I am not living at my home in the US, I am on a little trip to Europe and huawei is litteraly king here, I mean, apple devices are like a status thing, but everyone has a huawei! and there knew p20 is a beast! I saw it in a normal elictronics store, I do see why its banned in US though, it has a curved screen edge, and a notch, both of these things I think have been patented by apple and Samsung and LG lol its cool tho, I mean, 1440p on a smartphone? OLED technology too? it is stunning to look at wow -

How much did you spend on PCs so far?
James the Broke Gamer replied to DiamondCubeMiner's topic in General Discussion
well, originally, $400 but then it broke so i replaced so many things until I fixed it, that I had enough parts to build a whole other PC! lol so in total, around $680 but then I sold my first pc, so about $100 lol -

Hey guys, at my school people love playing fsx and x plane as do I I am thinking of buying a yoke system for these flight sims, and should I go for x-plane 11 or stick with fsx? Yoke is expensive, so im not sure if I should go for it, if anyone has experience using it tell meh if u think its worth it also planes are cool also, in my opinion, any type of simulator is fun in a casual way, I like casual gaming and rpg games more in general cuz I rage less lol
