  1. Thank you for such detailed answer! Unfortunately I don't live in the US and prices here (EU - Czech republic) don't match those in best buy. For reference, the cheapest G14 with RTX 3060 is 2050 USD, so yeah... There is one G14 I could maybe afford - 1650 Ti + R5 4600HS for 1400 USD. Anyway, what I meant by light gaming is getting around 40 FPS on the lowest settings, definitely not constant 60. The games I listed - mainly rocket league - are really not very demanding and it looks like both mx 350 and even the AMD iGPU can handle them, granted not at constant 60 fps. But gaming really isn't the main focus, I'd game just occasionally. My biggest issue right now is that I don't know whether to go for AMD, intel or if it doesn't matter in terms of longevity and performance (eg. in coding). Zephyruses are definitely the dream laptops, especially the G15, but they are quite expensive here. Thank you once more!
  2. Hello everyone, I am going to college and I need a laptop. I would like it to last the whole time - that's 5 years, so maybe a metal one would be nice. I'll have some coding classes in C++ and probably matlab/python - I'll study physical engineering. Right now I am not sure, what would be better choice, whether intel (most likely the Intel Core i7 1165G7) or AMD (most likely the AMD Ryzen 7 5700U). I probably want 16gb of RAM as I'll most likely need it for some computation (and some light gaming :P). I'm not sure if I want a dedicated GPU or not - I want to play games like rocket league, f1 2020 and maybe apex. I want 15.6" unless some 14" is absolutely worth it. I do not want touch. 512gb SSD should be fine. Now for my final question - is wifi 6 or thunderbolt something I should seriously consider, or are they minor features? The laptops I am currently looking at are: ASUS Vivobook S15 S533 (the i7, 16gb ram, 512 gb SSD, MX 350 2gb, wifi 6, most likely thunderbolt as well) for around 1300 USD ASUS Vivobook S15 M533 (R7 5700U; 16gb ram, 512gb SSD, Vega graphics (probably enough), no wifi 6, probably no thunderbolt, but has a USB-C) for about 1100 USD I was looking at some DELL Vostro as well, but that had "just" iris xe and I am not sure, whether it could run the games I want consistently. Please let me know which one is better and/or suggest some other laptops. Thank you very much!
  3. Alright, thank you very much, I'll google through the battery life and give those 2 options to my mum. Thank you very much!
  4. Thank you very much. I believe the note 10 isn't there because of it's size and price, but it's fairly light as well and she would probably stretch the budget a little bit. What is your opinion on that phone? Thank you!
  5. Yeah, I don't like huawei or honor at all.
  6. Thank you, but I don't think that would be suitable - nor for me, nor for my mum
  7. Here ya go, thank you very much. https://www.alza.cz/EN/
  8. Yeah, I don't like the UI either, but I don't see any other options either. Thank you.
  9. ARE YOU SERIOUS? 399 for 4a 5G that's hella good price. No I don't and I probably wouldn't buy from Germany anyway, because warranty and stuff. But 399, that's very compelling. Would you recommend any other phone than this? Thank you very much.
  10. I doubt that, she isn't tech enthusiast
  11. The Nord was too heavy, iirc, so probably the note 10. Thank you very much.
  12. Czech republic, google doesn't have official support here.
  13. Thank you, that would probably be the ideal phone, but it is like 630E here, so unfortunately, that's not in the budget. But thank you very much.
  14. Thank you very much, but are you sure it's note? I can't find note. I only found S20 FE and that's 640E here. But thank you nevertheless.
  15. Hello everyone, my mum is looking for a new phone, I finally convinced her to buy something more expensive, so hopefully more reliable - her past phones were some HTCs which lasted about a year to two, now she has Honor lite, and that is slowing down a fair bit too now. The budget would be 400-450 EUR. She would need good battery and good phone quality, as she takes a lot of phone calls. Good camera would be great too. The phone shouldn't be too heavy, 165g would be max, under 160g would be preferable. It shouldn't be too big either. I was looking at: Pixel 4a(non 5G) - looks great, but is said to have small battery; Samsung galaxy S10e; Samsung galaxy note 10. If it would last as long as possible, without getting too slow, that would be awesome. Thank you for all tips!
  16. I'm getting lost here, but I just ordered the Ion+. Thanks for the help guys!
  17. Oh, ok, then I guess I'll save myself 5$. THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANKS
  18. NVM, changed my mind, since I read on the PSU tier list that multirail is better and be quiet is whereas fractal isn't.
  19. Ok, thank you very much, I'll go with the fractal one since it is platinum And I have fractal case Thank you veeery much.
  20. Hello, I'm sorry to wake up this thread, but rn I have option od getting ion+ 560P for 5$ cheaper than the straight power 11 550W, what would you recommend? Thanks and sorry.
  21. OH, we have just 2 years warranty on everything, but I checked on EVGA's site And it still is! Thanks, I'll try to RMA it. Month without a desktop, but well, what can you do.
  22. Go for it! It's great Thank you sooooo much for your help with the PSU!
  23. Ok, thank you sooooo much, you've been a big help!
  24. WOW, and there I thought picking a PSU would be easy, well obviously, it is not. Thank you so much for all the tips! I found a straight power 11 550W for about 120$. Thank you very much, I'll pick it up, it also has that silent fan, which is amazing. You seem to know a lot about PSUs, should I somehow maintain it? I mean dusting the inside off together with the PC, turning it off for some time or something like that? Thank you very much once more! Thanks you! I'll grab the straight power 11 550W as I found it for about 120$. Thank you very much! PS: Agreed Meshify C is amazing case! How often do you dust it?
