  1. Yeah, ultimately I had to replace the card. EVGA wasn't very helpful in getting support in ANY way.
  2. I recently acquired a used EVGA GTX 1060 SC. https://www.evga.com/products/specs/gpu.aspx?pn=5FA28D37-0FB1-42BE-8B9B-04223CB59D85 No matter what system it is put into it won't allow for booting because it throws the error that the PCIe power cable isn't connected. I've tried 3 different systems and 4 different PCIe power connectors. All the connector and traces visually look intact and unburned. How can I further troubleshoot this card or do you all think I just need try to get it repaired\replaced via EVGA?
  3. I was thinking ASRock, but I'll take another look at the Asus. I tend to leave them out because RGB isn't a thing I care about. Plus if I recall the Strix compromises the PCIe lane to x8 with an NVME drive.
  4. Yeah, I do want to, not insanely though. a modest boost on the Ryzen 7 1800x for now. and then see what comes out of the next gen in July.
  5. I'm building an ITX AMD build and can't decide on which chipset, B450 or x470. It seems the main advantage to X470 is SLI\Crossfire support which is a non issue for an ITX build with only 1 x16 slot and no x8's or less. Is there any REAL reason to choose x470 of B450 for the ITX format? Are there enough other features that can be utilized to justify the extra $50ish bucks in the spend?
