Same to me, but in my case I got a palit rtx 2080 and ryzen 5 2600x with 2x8gb 3200mhz ram sticks... I’m so confused

Hey, so I just built a new PC, with ryzen 5 2600x, palit rtx 2080, 3200MHz 16gb corsair vengeance RAM, 600w be quiet! psu, and I’m gaming on 1080p. At the time I’m playing fortnite, and I’ve capped my FPS to one 160 and were expecting it to constantly be up there with one setting on epic and the rest on low. But it’s not like that, it drops all the time and goes as low as 60 FPS. (I used my old SSD and I had problems with drops on my last PC aswell, Idk if it can cayse anything) Anyone have any clue on what can be causing it and how to fix?

Anyone know why?

I have just built my new gaming PC, it’s got a Ryzen 5 2600x, palit rtx 2080, 3200MHz 16gb corsair vengeance and still I only get like 80 FPS with epic settings on fortnite. And not that ot really latters, but when I play on my vomp settings, (two things on epic rest on low) and cap to 165 fps it drops down quite often in the lobby waiting for the game to start and when mid air (with cpu usage at like 30-40). Did not expect this...

In my country 2080 is cheaper than 1080. Is nvidia the only company with good high end gpu’s?

And would a rtx 2080 be worth it even though I wont be using ray tracing?

Okay. Is it any case that fits better with it or will the cooler master h500 work with it?

Is it worth using that much on a motherboard? I thought it didn’t matter too much (I dont know a lot about pc stuff), but what makes that motherboard special? ?

A whole build for that would be $2600. Do you have any cheaper suggestions, maybe a good 2080 with CPU? I’m looking to use maybe around $1800-2000.

How much do you think its worth? It’s 8gb ram and 2x 256gb ssd (yeah not very much) and your know gpu and cpu

Cooler master h500 and is G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200MHz 16GB good or is it better to go with cheaper 3000mhz. Because this whole upgrade will cost me 650$ and idk if its better to just try to sell my old lenovo cube y710 and buy a new one.

Do you think h500 with the Tomahawk B450 would be any good?

I like the kinda flashy look, with RGB and being able to see the whole system. Also, I'm not sure what case to get because I can't figure out which cases has the best cooling for the price and whats big enough and stuff like that because when someone in a video says something about the case, someone in another video says the complete opposite. And for the motherboard I don't really understand anything about them, what chipsets I need or what the B in B450 for example means. I heard it's recommended with micro atx tho but I'm not really sure, so it would have been nice if you could tell me what you'd get and maybe why

I'm looking to upgrade my Lenovo Cube Y710, because my i5-6400 2.7GHz is wayy to ass for my gtx 1070. I'm planning on moving all my parts into a new case, but I want to keep my 1070. Anyone got any tips for what case, motherboard and ram I should get? And btw the proccessor I'm looking to buy is the Ryzen 5 2600x.

I'm looking at the usage of my CPU right now and it's at 100% when I'm just searching on chrome and playing .io game, is that normal? It also at over 3. GHz idk if that matters though.

Hi, so I've had my Lenovo Cube for quite some time now, and recently I've started getting lots of FPS drops and sometimes I just have low FPS for longer periods of time. I think this is really weird because it happens in games like CS:GO and Team Fortress 2, which obviosly aren't too heavy. It's super annoying. Can anyone help me out?
