    Summary
The parent company of Unity, it's in plan of its biggest acquisition of another gaming company. The deal, that was announced on Tuesday, sees Unity taking control of Parsec.

    My thoughts:
Even Doh Parsec Announced that part of the aquisition meant that parsec would still be free mentioned in a tweet from their official twitter page: https://twitter.com/ParsecTeam/status/1425206344467034113
we will probably see some stuff of it change in the future however i dont see how necesarilly it is benefitial for unity being a game developer only and parsec being a game streaming platform

LstpersonalOF got a reaction from Gazeley in Changed ISP, Mbps gone way up, PC still disconnecting from games, network card issue?
Hi,My Recomendations and Experience With Networking

A-My past experiences with multiple Wifi range Extenders/Boosters:
1-Wifi Extenders Do not Work, they are design for what they say they do but at the cost of speed and latency.
2-they are sometimes big but does not mean they can handle the capacity, the small ones you will regret them.

    B-Troubleshooting steps:

1-Check your enviorement for channels and signal bands to see if they are not conflicting with each other (wich can cause problems adnd hurt your wifi performance) and
How to Do this? if you have a android phone i use wifi analyzer wich shows you all of the devices in the area  and bands you are
if its crowded the app should look like the pic i attached  if you see your SSDI (Name Of your Wifi) With a bunch of other stuff like other routers try and move them on your isp router admin console because they actually are set to auto and sometimes it can be set to join the most crowded band wich can cause interference.

BTW:Mine looks like that because i live in apartments and its usually pretty crowded bands with routers and idk if you live in a apartment complex but this can happen.

2-Check the routers config because sometimes they are not up to date and can be bad but usually mines have stayed up to date just fine.
3-also and most important one at the time of you playing are there any other devices like, laptops, tvs, smartboxes, speakers, etc being in use specially other computers in video calls or doing heavy network work why i ask? because someting that happens a lot is that isp routers are not designed to handle many clients especially doing network compsumption tasks like playing games, video calls, content streaming at the same time and can make your performance not work

also including something in part 3 check in your wifi settings on the isp router that you are not limited to certain bandwith so lets say you have 200 megabytes your isp is offering but your router from the isp can be set to use 100 megabytes and you need 70 for games and lets say another person on another devices needs 50 for a videocall it will hurt your performance, disconnect you etc. because it does not have the bandwith necessary to handle its demand and its going to opt for disconnecting  for it not overloading, heating and potentialy damaging your isp router.

finally if you do not know what to do if the problem persist and do not want to mess with your isp router my suggestion is do a speedtest on using a lan port of the router and not connect to it via wifi and if you get good results my suggestion is that you place your own in there and connect just from your router lan port and on to the your router wan port  and configure it yourself following the bandwith checking to see and have better connection and better performance and just not use your main isp router wifi or you can load balance it and connect not many important devices on the isp router and important stuff on your router so it gets the performance you need for your gaming and some family member video calls.

hope it helps, hope you are staying safe in difficult times, and if you need anything else or have questions about this and need better explanation i would gladly help as long as i can.

ALSO THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING WITH YOUR BANDS.

yeah It will work just fine it looks slightly different because they are combined xlr ports wich means you can use the line 1/4 corder jack from the guitar and also can connect a xlr mic or xlr line but not at the same time you find it on audio interfaces and mixers nowdays just gives you the flexibility to connect what you need.

    Hi Again couple of things:
1-Wifi Boosters And Wifi Range Extenders Are Not The Same Thing.
2-Range Extenders And Wifi Boosters Are Not AP's They Are Boosters And Extenders Yes they do create a ''second network'' wich you can make it look like an Acces point but its not the same.
3-What I Meant about the ethernet thing I Mean from The LAN Port From the ISP provided box to the "supossed wan port" on the booster/extender they are not for wan they are supposed to be regular lan ports.
4-also wifi boosters and extenders work separetly acces points are meant to be used a least 2 on the same building or house, etc because they work with eachother kinda like mesh wifi systems.
5- And to be honest with you probably the wifi booster or range extender doesnt give you te full sped and low latency that a acces point, router or mesh system does.

hi i just want to know something really quick are you trying to use a ethernet port from your isp router and plug it in to the extender? if its not a wan port is not going to work
and also the range extenders dont work that way and they are what they advertise they will be xtenders not routers or ap's  they just extend the signal but at the price of :

-Yes It does Extends Your Wifi at the price of speed so higher latency and lower down and up speeds wich can be critical when doing gaming on pc or console.
    -they are just not reliabe.
-sometimes dont look good and its sticks out of the outlet and sometimes even taking the two outlets because its too big and bulky and sometimes does not match your astethic or colors of the wall etc.
-and do not handle a lot of clients especially in a crowded bands area (something really bad specially in apartments) And areas with a lot of devices even changing the bands on the initial configuration or later change of settings and config.
    - they have the stupid SSID_ext on both bands and can not be changed or merged to the existing network.
-Also they dont change seamlessly with devices so you will have to manually go to the settings of the device and change it manually.

What i did Run ethernet cable from my main router to the area i have no signal in this case master bedroom to my room and on that space of my room i used a netgear router AC100 Set it up as acces point and switch because it has 4 ports in the back i set up a main network for me and my devices did a channel band check with wifi analyzer on my phone i choosed the best band for my acces point and also set up a guest network so when i have friends and family over i dont have to give them acces to my private network including lights, printer, chromecast (also Have the chromecast Setup with the guest code so we can share stuff on my tv) and a google home.

If you cannot do this because for wathever reason can run a ethernet cable i would go with the option of a home mesh wifi system i have friends that have it and its a great solution just that we did not do it because it was expensive.

and also the reason for not doing mesh is we have the wiring for a later date nas setup for editing on the network locally.

im always open to disscus it as long as it is a friendly discussion.
