    i have an 2012 mac which has an ssd in it. it resently stopped booting so i tried fixing it and never got the ssd to show up unless i use an usb to sata converter. that leaded me to believe that the sata cable was broken in the mac but i tried installing mac os on an old hard drive and that worked perfectly.  im just trying to figure out why it doesnt want to work when connected to sata

    It could still be the SATA cable. SSDs are harder on these cables than harddrives are.
     
    Swap the cable for a new one and test the SSD on it again.

    its suggested max turbo speed is 4.2ghz but my cpu never goes above 4.0ghz 
    i have an Corsair H100i Platinum AIO cooler so cooling should not be the issue

    im an owner of the G933 and was wondering if anyone know if the new g935 has the exact dimentions as the g933 and if so would it be possible to buy padding for the G935 and use it on the G933 i have 

    since its some kind of leather textured material on the g935
