  1. i thought of using zip ties because I have a couple extra case fans I'm not using but wouldn't know where to mount them lol
  2. The fans move freely when I spin them. Thinking the fans got burned out somehow.
  3. Yeah, I am pretty sure the fans are dead. I contacted XFX about replacing the fans but they don't have them available anymore. Gonna end up buying card. Thankfully, the gpu doesn't go under load when just using the computer normally. Just sucks cuz I can't game til I get a new card.
  4. I cleaned it regularly, at least once a month, so i know that dust build up wasn't an issue. I unplugged the fans and checked all the connections for them and everything looked fine to me. I bought an adapter that would allow me to plug the fans directly into the motherboard but that didn't work either. I am pretty sure the fans themselves are dead because the card is still getting the "order" to turn them on but they don't come on at all.
  5. I have an XFX Radeon RX 460 gpu that I have had for a little over 2 years. A few months ago, one of the fans stopped working but I continued using it since the other fan was still working. As of last week, the second fan stopped working. The card heats up fast without any cooling and stays at 89c the entire time it is under load. I stopped playing pc games so I didn't risk burning out the card. Does anyone know why the fans stopped working, and if there is an easy fix for it? I don't have the money to replace the card and am hoping I can just replace the fans. Any and all help is appreciated.
