  1. Upgrading laptop CPU's is almost never worth it. The prices are too high for what you get. If you really want to upgrade an old laptop like that then put a clean install of windows 7 or 10 on it with some new CPU paste.
  2. Pretty sure I didn't but oh well, the aio is working a lot better then the old air cooler. It really depends on the situation.
  3. Noctua NH-D15. It can also depend on the case I use, The AIO rad and fans are able to suck in clean air from the outside, the noctua cooler had to suck air from inside the case. Even with fans in the front it would still be warmer.
  4. You must be doing something wrong then, my 280mm nzxt kraken is cooling my cpu a lot better then my big old aircooler
  5. 71 fps in GTA online is pretty normal, they have all this custom shit these days so the performance is pretty bad. Best you can do is to adjust the video settings (and advanced settings) in a busy area so you can find your desired fps.
  6. Just go AIO for your first watercooler. If you really want some blingy setup I recommend you get a kit. Making a custom build is a real pain the ass. But it does look nice.
  7. That's why I will always recommend people to buy GPU's and CPU's new unless you can test them. Not worth the risk. They are way to expensive to gamble like that.
  8. Check your memory, change the dimms. Why did you buy a card without warranty?
  9. Why would you settle for a 770 if you can get a 970?
  10. School sucks. Why not have a hotspot on your phone and connect your laptop to it? Thats what we did most of the time. My country does have unlimited 4G+ plans that are only 40 euro's, not sure where you live.
  11. I think thats pretty normal for all computers, doesnt matter what windows PC I use when I view a PDF with a large graphic my system bogs down until I have scrolled past it.
  12. Why not have a remote connection to your pc at home, and via that pc do what you want?
  13. I'd say a Oculus Rift might be better, you can get a set with controllers and sensors for around 300 usd these days. That's cheap as heck. If you want a really good VR experience I'd say the new valve index, its expensive but def. worth it. Cheaping out might not be the best thing. If I were you I'd wait a bit, save some more money and get a really good experience rather then a lackluster one.
  14. Black boxes look cool and all but when I was 11 I thought alien ware was the shit because I saw the laptop on the big bang theory. It all depends on the person.
