  1. One of the issues you may be running into is how the weapons (and gear in general) scale in borderlands 2. In borderlands 1 you can pick up a fairly decent weapon and it will carry you for 10+ levels. A really good weapon will be 20+ if you're lucky. In borderlands 2 they heavily nerfed weapons. This is the main reason I still play borderlands 1 over 2. You will need to switch out to a new weapon at minimum every 5 levels and at most 10. Even if you pick up epic weapons. You can sometimes get away with legendary weapons for 12-15 levels but that's about it. It sucks but that's the way it is. Once you get to your first somewhat easy boss that drops a lot of loot (I believe its the BNK3R) farm it for the latest gear. tl;dr you will want to switch weapons 5-10 levels for a stronger one even with epic quality.
  2. Although it has been about 3-4 years since I last tried Linux Mint my experience was pretty much the same. It was a complete dumpster fire to get any drivers to work properly. Let alone to install anything and get anything outside of a few basic games working. Now I'm giving Windows 10 one final chance with Pro. So far so good but if it starts to irk me the wrong way I'm probably just going to give ubuntu a shot and avoid Mint like the plague.
  3. Not sure if it counts as computer parts but Still in its package too. I don't remember when or where I picked it up though.
  4. Ok I've been looking for an answer for my original question for a few hours now (various websites). Software raids do not interest me for a variety of reasons. What I need is a recommended controller card.
  5. Thanks for the reply! Its just for non boot drive. I've looked into online tutorials but it isn't clear as to use a stripped or spanned drive. What I'm mainly looking for from it is redundancy and because of that I wasn't sure which one to choose and why raid 5 interested me.
  6. I have the x470 gaming plus motherboard. Unfortunately it doesn't support raid5. Does anyone know of a good raid5 controller card? The primary use will be personal use storage with some amounts of file retrieval. There are plenty on amazon but I'm unsure of which to go with. Any help would be appreciated!
