  1. https://www.bynorth.com/?fbclid=IwAR2tLk6ok-y6DavchhkskQ12ZJwfPi-5eq-3DD_0duRlrWhhFJgnfeqf47c Not sure if you get time to browse the suggestion thread.  But with the upcoming of smart cars and the already thought out google glasses being banished to an industrial direction I thought you might like this.  Glasses for the smart phone.  Meant for the average every day use of notifications.  Uses refracted light to give a less invasive holographic display.  My best friend from high school was on the team and it is a canadian product.  Also it is new tech that although now directed for aesthetic appearance could be used for many practical future implementation.   Just a thought if you were looking for something innovative.

  2. Hello all, Hello @LinusTech 4 and a half years ago I purchased a Steelseries wireless H headset. I was stuck in between this and the astro a40's or was it 50's. I had spent what seems a lifetime of wired into wireless low build quality headphones and on Linus's recommendation I purchased the wireless H due to his assessment of sound and mic quality. Ultimately his ability to take it to the limit and bend the headset aggressively and twist it to the limit sold me on how my experience was to be expected. Those headphones changed my life in regards to gaming as well as wireless mobility. It has been 4 and a half years and they still work as the day I bought them. With the exception of a battery purchase that I did at the 4 year mark. They still work as intended with no firmware update available. I would like to see the progression of steelseries to the arctis wireless pro. I currently have purchased them and am wearing them as I type but there have been many versions leading to this one. Being the person I trust the most after 16 or more hours of reviews in regards to headsets back when I made such a purchase I would think that the community should love to see the evolution of steelseries wireless . I present to you the idea of Steelseries wireless "H to Pro". Being the best I have seen in actual fun and innovative displaying of sound and construction as opposed to the standard unflavored ideology that comes with gamer sound I would introduce the opportunity to present a step up comparison of steelseries over the years on wireless as well as the new integrated DaC on the Pro Wired and also if desired a comparison on the other competitive models on the market. The wireless H changed my life. Pro gamers speak of the hyper cloud and why it gives the edge. I would like to see the only one I have witnessed giving a true all encompassing review of wireless headsets from back in the day, update it to current standard and show benefits in regard to voice sound and updated gaming. As well as comfort and structure. I have purchased my headset already. There are no complaints on my end for my purchase. As well as none on my previously capable daily driver. I just think that over 4 generations of wireless sound some recognition to the incremental steps and advancements should be acknowledged by someone non biased and trustworthy. Someone who looks at the parts not the brands. I might also add. I am not a rich man or of great means. I worked many hours to afford both sets of headphones without regret. Thank you for your time and consideration
  3. hotel internet is not great for gaming so I wouldn't go overboard unless you had grand ambitions of stand alone single player. Then I say lan rig and use the hotel television
  4. It is just to keep things out of there. If you keep it plugged in then it does the same thing
  5. If you can get a good price on a 4790k then it is definitely worth the upgrade. What everyone here fails to see is our games have a lot more overlays and addons then what we used to work with. If you are going to stream or run multiple intensive things simultaneously then the 4 core no hyperthreading i5 loses it's preformance. For the record every CPU since the 2500k can overclock to a 4.4 comfortably with the right cooler. then it from top to bottom is 8700k to 6700k to 4790k to 7700k. for performance. Unless you are going to delid because the 7700k has the same issue with the thermal paste as the 4770k did. Wont go much past 5ghz. Used 4790k 150 to 200 US if you find the right seller.Easy no hassle upgrade. 16g of ram is plenty. SSD help games load faster for sure but I am not sure that it goes any faster for frames. Then tweaking the settings. I would even attempt an overclock to 4.7 on the 4790k. Unless you go right to 8700 with the 2 extra cores then it isn't worth the upgrade. There is some scaling with ram and physics engines but not enough to make the difference. That scaling is the only reason the 6700k beat the 4790k. It is a forgivable margin I assure you.
  6. pins. 2 of them, Can be a sewing needs or a pin for a shirt. find a spot on either side as far down as you can away from the hinge side. When you are confident you have a good spot on either side then pry and wiggle it until it gets back far enough
  7. power it down and unplug your power supply. Hold the power button for 30 seconds. That should discharge it. You should also consider your mobo may be touching the case somewhere. As a precaution I recommend taking it apart one by one and reassembling it and testing with each new piece. So on stick of ram and onboard. Then add the next stick. Vid card and so on and on forth. Dont check to see if cables are tight. take them out and reseat them. Very common mistake.
  8. It will be called a water pipe grounding clamp. https://acpfoto.com/photo/thomas-betts-j-water-pipe-ground-clamp-tnb4002.html Looks something like that.
  9. Do you have your cable running in to where your computer is for internet or television or misc other. 3 other options you have are a grounding spike outside discretely run with one of those cable runs. You can also run along the windowsill if you can hide it to a satisfactory degree, Option 2. There are clamps that can connect to your copper piping which will allow the same thing to happen but you would have to run it in through the floor, Last option, Every Plug and outlet is grounded internally. Could hardwire to that. I would recommend one of the other options as they are less invasive. U could install a GFCI socket and that should fix the problem also. Might want to call and electrician on that. As far as grounding to the rad. what you really want is to ground to the pipe coming off the rad. I am not sure if most hardware stores still carry the tension clamps made for that anymore as I they were considered obsolete at one point but any secure clamp should work as long as it has a good connection and not bare wire available to make you a path to ground.
  10. No problem saying hi on the way by. Just dont interrupt her and her friends and be friendly. goes a long way. If one of them looks like she has a bunch of stuff to carry or errends to run offer a few minutes of your time.
  11. what all do u have already is a good start. Monitor hard drives ect
  12. upgrading would be the only choice. Or optimizing your graphics. Improvements to shaders and textures with driver updates are going to be a thing. As well as other changes that come with game updates for improved gameplay.
  13. There is not enough ram for one. Shared graphics memory, that is a big ole issue. Max size for ram per slot is 4g and there is 2 slots. I would suggest you max that out. At the end of the day though I would not use that for anything but web browsing but that is me.
