  1. Ok I spent the money I had saved for a GPU on the other stick of ram, and you guys were so right!! It made such more of an impact than I had imagined, the game runs great now! I still get lower fps in some areas, but at least I can play the game now without being frustrated by the fps until I save enough for a GPU!! Thank you all!
  2. Ok thank you all very much. I'll be buying the extra stick of RAM soon. I will be looking at the RX 470 and 570 is that good enough for 60 fps on WoW? I'll spend my time going through this thread and check out all the suggestions on ebay and amazon, thank you all so much.
  3. Hi everyone, I watch the YouTube channel often and it really helped me get back into PC gaming. I have started saving money to build a PC since the beginning of this year, and I finally managed to save enough to get 1. the motherboard, an msi b450. 2. the Ryzen 5 2400g (apu) 3. 1 stick of ddr4 ram, 4. a PSU and 5. a 128gb SSD for windows (and used an old HDD for game storage). All this cost around $340 and I am so happy to have gotten this! I started playing my favorite game (World of Warcraft) and I noticed that I do start to get very low fps in certain situations making the game very hard and frustrating to play. Now it took me almost 5 months to save up that $340, I'm very poor and cannot work, for reasons I won't get into now. I do what I can through Amazon'z Mechanical Turk 10+ hours a day to maintain myself and keep all the bills paid. All I have to keep myself happy is this game right now, and before that it was mostly YouTube and TV shows. I am hoping someone can help me find a good deal on a video card that will get me as close to 60 fps in dungeons (5 man dungeon) in WoW as possible. I've looked everywhere for "pay over time" options because I can afford 20 or so dollars a month, but I have no credit so I do not qualify for any of them, and I can't afford the $200~ up front for the cards my friends suggests. Is there anyone who plays this game who can suggest me a good card that will cost as little as possible so I can spend the time I do have on the game enjoying it rather than frustrated with it? I've asked other people and they say RX 580 or GTX 1660, but those cards will take me months to save up for. I thought coming here would be the best place to get the best information, maybe something most other people don't know. I really need it to be as cheap as possible, thank you for your time!
  4. OK I have a big question. when I go to Taobao I see the price as ¥98.00-128.00 then that translates on google to $0.89 - $1.16 US dollars. Why is that price so low? Is it wrong? I was checking other parts of the site and if that translation on google is correct I can buy a GTX 1060 6g for about $10 ?? What am I missing here? Can I not use Japanese hardware or something? I must be missing SOMETHING?? Please any help here to help me spin my head on straight. EDIT: nevermind I figured it out google was using the japaneese yen not the chineese money
  5. I really don't know what those are? I am very noob to building PC's. I wouldn't mind I guess? not sure. What is better a gtx 560, or a gt 1030? Both are 2gb, and ddr5 ram on it? I want the best bang for the buck, so value is very important here for me. Thank you for your help so far.
  6. just want the ssd a bit faster and I can buy a cheap one for around 20 dollars for the boot, and use my other HDDs for space. do you think I could put a gtx 1030 in this? is about 80 bucks on amazon, 2gb ddr5. I don't really know much about computers I've never built one but I want to fix this up so I can have something usable while I save for a better build. From what I read it should work? but I don't really know about bottlenecks etc.
  7. I have a few HDD but I was thinking of getting an ssd for boot and using hdd for space. I would use it and sell it when I'm done with it maybe. What gpu would you suggest?
  8. I live in north carolina and I'm fine with used.
  9. That looks good,. I will revisit once I have higher budget but right now I was hoping to get something that I could use for now. but is this even worth upgrading? I would be using it for a long time, maybe a year. I don't have disposable income so this is the only time I will have money to spend for a while.
  10. budget is around 100 dollars, 150 if the value is really worth it, but I would like to spend less.
  11. I don't have a lot of money but I really like to game, so I had some old PC's and I took them apart and found a Gateway GT5628 Motherboard(775 slot) with an Intel Core 2 quad 2.6ghz Q9300. I have a 500 Watt power supply, case and fans, Is it worth spending 20 bucks on an SSD and 40-80 on a graphics card? What would you guys suggest for a graphics card? I want to play Tomb Raider, is there any way I will get the power out of this to be able to play it? Any other tips is welcome. Thank you.
