  1. From what I've seen it's more like ~400$ but yeah, it ain't cheap. Prices are supposed to come down this year up to 20% so I'll keep an eye open. If you have a suggestion on kits I should keep an eye on, don't hesitate to share them though! No, it is a very very poor overclocker kit according to many reviews. Best I've seen was someone bringing it to 2800mhz with loose timings.
  2. Thanks for all the replies. I actually currently run a 7700k at 5.1Ghz no AVX offset. I've come down to the conclusion that if I can find a decent priced 32GB B-die kit, I'll grab it, potentially overclock it and tighten the timings. It's time I learn to actually overclock memory. Thanks for the help people!
  3. I just did actually haha Thanks for the replies though!
  4. But wouldn't 3600mhz ram give a decent boost in performance over my current 2400mhz?
  5. Imagine I didn't overclock either of those kits, would you say that lower timings would be more beneficial in my case than double the capacity? I never really bothered overclocking RAM tbh. Currently 1080Ti, eventually a 2080Ti. 350$ isn't that much for a new kit but if the upgrade would basically be pointless or very minor in terms of performance increase, then I would change my mind for sure.
  6. Performance definitely. I should of mentioned that those 2 kits I'm looking at are the same price.
  7. As title says, what in your mind would be better in my use case scenario. I mostly game and often have up to 50 tabs open in Chrome at the same time. I also record my gaming sessions and often have numerous programs running while I game. 16GB 3600Mhz 16-16-16-36 or 32GB 3600Mhz 19-20-20-40 Currently running a plain 2400Mhz 32GB. Thx!
