  1. It is in PC spec in my post. But it's a Corsair RM650x
  2. Hmm, that might a good option. 6800XT still seems to recommend 750W PSU though. But the total price would go down to about 700 euro if i add a PSU to the 6800xt. But guess i keep the same issue. wouldnt a 4070 for the same price be better?
  3. I know the discussion on the cards themselves has been had many times by now. But i am looking to upgrade but with my 650W PSU i am struggling a bit with the decision. PC Spec: R7 3700x 32GB Ram RTX2060 6GB Corsair RM650x If i had to purely choose on the card themselves, i would go with the 6950, but with my PSU i worry that it probably won't work out well without a PSU upgrade. So in that sense 4070 would be a better option but the whole Vram discussion lately has me worried about that. So my options is a 4070 for €659 or a 6950 for €659 + €160 PSU850w. So basically 4070 for €695 vs a 6950 for €819. My conclusion at the moment is that the extra 160 euro for a PSU to make the 6950 work will counter any price/performance benefits the 6950 has.
  4. So i got everything in the shopping cart ready to buy it all. I just want a last minute check from you guys if it good to go. Added a usb drive for win10 install media and some air to clean my current GPU. I changed the case although still not 100% on it and went with 16gb of ram as the original ram i planned on getting was sold out. Otherwise i am happy with it, just worried i might have forgotten something to actually build it, like do i need to get any extra cables for anything etc..
  5. At the webshop i plan to buy my memory there are two version of this kit but with the same speed and latency. What's the difference? CMK16GX4M2D3600C18 vs CMK16GX4M2Z3600C18 The only difference in the code is D and Z in the middle and a € 10 difference. Also any advice for what memory the get. From my understanding of some reviews, 3600CL18 is better than 3200CL16 because of how Ryzen2 works. If you had to pick one of these kits which one would it be Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3600CL18 G.Skill DDR4 Trident-Z 2x8GB 3600MHz CL18 RGB I dont care for RGB just performance/price/quality
  6. Well that the thing. That 2x16 is also 3600c16( € 150). So going for the 32GB means i get a extra 16GB for just 40 euro more over just 2x8 3600c16( € 120). I also cant find any ram faster than 3600c16 on that website for that price range. The only thing that seems to come close is the G.Skill DDR4 Trident-Z 2x8GB 3600Mhz@CL15 at (€ 182)
  7. Also another thing concerning the ram. Getting any of the 2x8GB ddr4 3600@CL16 all come down to around 120 euros. So kinda feels like a steal getting 2x16 for 150. Unless there is something wrong with that RAM that i am not aware of cuz the price diff just seems crazy really.
  8. So here is the updated system. Only thing i changed so far is the SSD. At the moment i am still staying with the 3700x and the 32GB Ram. I do like to get some tips on good option for Case and MB as people have made points about those. I wasn't able to find the phantek p400A that someone suggested, so that a not a option.
  9. https://www.megekko.nl/product/4286/228736/AMD-Socket-AM4-Moederborden/MSI-X470-GAMING-PRO-moederbord This be any good?
  10. https://www.megekko.nl/product/5093/266799/SSD-M-2/Kingston-A2000-500GB-M-2-SSD This be a good part to replace the samsung evo?
  11. Gaming and maybe a bit of streaming. As for the 3600, looking at the future and the way consoles are getting more cores with the next generation i think the development of games capable of using more cores could make a significant jump in the near future and the idea of having basically 2-4 extra cores to run any background application without any interference of my gaming cores. I am also always hesitant with building a PC with the idea of it being just enough. I remember when i bought my current PC 8-9 years ago everybody telling me how a GPU with more than 1gb of Vram was pointless and that 8GB would be more than enough. I build my PC with 6-8 years of usage planned while a lot of people who say stuff like it "its enough" are probably on a more frequent rate. Its pretty much the same story with the RAM , although it unlikely i will need it for gaming i like having that extra for background applications. Plus i do occasionally see stories of some games already getting really close to the 16gb, like star citizens. Maybe those stories are just because of memory leaks but again i just want to have that extra room to just be abl to run everything without having to do any memory management as i do now with my 8GBddr3. The 256GB SDD will be a Windows/boot drive only really. Curently using a 64gb SDD for win10 and although its a bit cramped it works so i am not too worried about the 256gb drive.
  12. Yeh i was originally planning on going with the Silverstone RL06 which was also highly recommended by gNexus but as that is out of stock for a while at that supplier i decided to go with this one.
  13. I plan on buying a new system next week. the picture below shows what i picked and just want you guys to look it over see if i missed anything that i might need to actually build the system and any other advice you guys can offer on better parts. I plan on buying it from this webshop https://www.megekko.nl Its in Dutch but i am sure you guys can navigate it easily enough if you have to. Some points about the system. I already own a GPU(RTX2060) Which i guess is bit underpowered for this but i can always upgrade that easily while upgrading the core system is a bit more of a hassle and i like to have it a bit future proof. I also plan on re-using my HDD and bought a 500GB SSD earlier this year that will go into the system. As for the 32GB of ram, well it doesn't really hurt and after struggling on 8GB DDR3 for so long i just dont ever want to think about my RAM usage again. Budget is 850euro
  14. Any change you accidentally switched the LN2 OC function on the board? https://www.msi.com/faq/motherboard-2866 yours would be slightly different place on your board more bottem right corner. Look it up in your manual. Edit: pic for the x299 https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1272791/Msi-X299-Gaming-M7-Ack.html?page=41
  15. Anthony made a nice pc build guide a while ago. There are plenty of other well know youtube channel like Jayz2cents that have a couple of build guides as well. They should be enough to get you started. But dont feel pressured to do your own build because we tell you to. If you worried to break something even if the chance is low i can totally understand you going for a prebuild anyway. Some PC shops will also allow you to pick your own parts and for 50euro extra they will assemble and test the system for you and you generally get a warranty on the build as well. As for where to buy, maybe it worth checking out a Austrian or German retailers, maybe they are close enough to deliver to Slovenia. As well as Amazon,Alibaba and other big international retailers.
  16. If you dont mind saying which country your from, people might be able to give you better places to look at. Also i do suggest giving a own build a try or at least look up some videos on how its done, it not much harder then putting a simple lego kit together and you will be able to save a couple of bucks.
  17. When can we expect reviewers to received preview kits?
  18. Kinda worried this shit is getting toxic. Look at this SS i made of another youtubers live stream chat. I marked it with the red arrow. It might just be a joke but you know how dumb ppl can be on the internet and how far people can take it. There are also several active mods as you can see and it did not get deleted.
  19. Thanks for the help. Managed to upgrade to win10, hasn't asked my for a license key so guessing it just took the one that was already in the system from win8.
  20. So i got my 2060 in today and went to download drivers only to notice that RTX doesnt support win8? What should i do, can i use win7 drivers for now ? OR would it be better of upgrading to win10 and is it still free?
  21. I was wondering if anybody here could answer what determines if a game is GPU or CPU intensive. Is it even actually a thing or just one of those things gamers simple keep repeating even if its not true? Is it just a matter of, if a game isn't very graphically demanding than it will be the CPU that will be the problem if you experience low frames or is there more to it? Is it perhaps engine design, do certain game-engines maybe distribute workload differently? Or is it perhaps the type of game that determines it, for example games that require complex AI are generally more CPU bound etc..
  22. So i am looking at several GPU options which i will list below. I'd like to hear people opinions about them. Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 OC 6G €376 Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti WINDFORCE 8G €385 Gigabyte Radeon RX VEGA 56 GAMING OC 8G €341 Gigabyte RX Vega 64 Gaming OC 8G €426 So most people have been suggesting the 2060 so far. Its seems to have the best price/performance ratio. However i do dislike the RTX series, people say the 6GB shouldn't be a issue for 1080/1440 but still for future proofing it something that bothers me. I also worried about he GDDR6 memory issues te RTX cards have been reporting, so far i have only seen stuff about this being a issue with the 2070/2080 so not sure if this is something to worry about with the 2060s. The Vega 64 is a bit more out of the price range of the other but i put it on the list in case people think its worth it spending that extra 50-75. Other spec of system i would probably be using this GPU with CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 Monitor: 1080/144hz So the question, What would you get and what is your reasoning behind it.
  23. https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/2904-silverstone-redline-rl06-case-review As i am looking for a case as well i looked around a bit recently and this one gets good review from gamers nexus. According to them it has one of the best airflows among budgets cases. If noise is a issue though they suggest its not the best for that.
  24. Just to make it clear as i worded it wrong. I have not downclocked the CPU what i did was turn off the turbo-boost function meaning the CPU stays at 3.3ghz.
