So I have a total of about 200 bucks to play with when it comes to buying a machine. My girlfriend isn't really a gamer at all, and she doesn't do anything even remotely close to intensive. I just want to get her something that functions with her iPhone and she can be happy with. If need be I have a 720p old 22 inch TV with an HDMI port on it for her to use as a display. And I have a cheap Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse for her to use as well. I just need the machine for a maximum of 200 US bucks. I'm a PC guy looking to buy a mac, so help on any ignorance I have would be appreciated. I guess so long as its constructive and not just being an ass. Thanks.

I did, and 444 doesnt change anything, but 422 allows me to go to 31hz, whoopee.

Hang on, I found I can change from YCbCr 422 and 444

There's a couple different settings tabs in the control panel. I went into Adjudst Video Color Settings and changed from limited range to Full. I didnt see in any of the other tabs to change output mode.

either way, im basically locked to 8-bit, 30hz, RGB in SDR mode. @ 3840x2160
-
I wouldn't at all know how to enable or disable any of that.

I have a Vizio V505-G9 TV that im trying to hook up to my PC via HDMI. I have an HP Elite SFF 8200 with a GTX 1050 Ti in it im trying to hook up to my TV. But when I connect HDMI to it, it's all locked to 30hz. In Nvidia control panel or even CRU I get nothing more than that. My Xbox will hook diplay 60hz no problem, and the display goes up to 120hz. But Im getting nothing. Whats the problem? I even went out to buy an HDMI 2.0 cable to see if that was the issue and its still the same. No matter what port I hook it into. Help, please?

Alright thanks, ill do some digging on ebay or something to find the CPU. As for RAM and a GPU, ill probably look on craigslist, offerup, or letgo. Thanks for being helpful. This isnt going to be a computer i use for awhile, just as a small heater for me, while being a FAH box. So RAM isnt as hugely as important as normal. -

is a CPU, GPU, and RAM doable with that processor for about a total of 50 USD though? Also its the MT tower, full height. -

All i want is a processor for the computer i have that i can upgrade to, and a suitable graphics card. Which core 2 quad makes the most heat thats compatible with that socket, and a single slot graphics card that makes enough power to push a display, or good for FAH GPU folding -
