  1. So full story. I purchased a windows 10 pro key a few years ago and have been using that forever... then when windows 11 went fully public I chose to upgrade and I have had windows 11 pro carry over and was fine for months. Now I decided to reset my PC like I have done a few times in the past and normally when I signed into my microsoft account it automatically detected the key and activated my windows... but not this time. Now when I try to activate it, I get this error: "It looks like the hardware on this device has changed. Make sure you're connected to the internet and try again later. Error code: 0xC0EA000A" And then it sends me to the microsoft store to purchase a windows key but says it is having issues activating my PC. Any ideas? I know I can get cheap keys from 3rd party sites but I'd rather not spend money on this when I shouldn't have to.
  2. If you're fine with 1080p, an Alienware 1080p 360hz G-Sync Certified IPS Panel is on sale on Amazon right now for just under $400 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08XWKCC68/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A38NQ511PUC45R&psc=1
  3. Also just a quick google search and realized it's Steam and it's a decently common problem people have
  4. Yeah so you're right... I noticed it wasnt showing up over the task manager window and I went through closing a few programs Steam, and Discord and it has now disappeared so it's either one of those! I thought something more serious was happening I appreciate the help lol!
  5. Like the title says... it happened on my old monitor and my newest monitor randomly and goes away with a system restart obviously it's a gpu issue since I can screenshot it lol or something idk. Ive completely removed my display drivers using ddu and reinstalled. It happens randomly and at random times, can be a week, a month or multiple before it happens again, or sometimes it happens once a day or more. Any ideas?
  6. UPDATE! So I just tested the sleep mode... I set the monitor to sleep after 1 min, and PC to sleep after 1 minute. The monitor shut off, but my PC didn't. Wake up worked how it was supposed to. Besides the fact that the PC kept running. I set the monitor shut off to NEVER, and PC kept at 1 minute. PC shut off, completely. Keyboard and mouse still on. But would not wake up, until I hit the power button. WHEN it did wake up.. it's loaded the bios for a second, then went to the login screen, and all my tabs on google, and apps were still running. Soo I'm assuming the problem is that my M+KB isn't waking my PC back up... IDK why I have it enabled. No Idea I'll just disable PC sleep
  7. A bit of a lengthy read ahead. So, seems like everytime I go away from my PC it shuts down.. it's done this three times to me so far, I come back and it's OFF, BUT all my devices still have power and lighting up, keyboard, mouse, etc. BUT it wont wake up, I have to hit the power button to turn it back on. So I figured it wasnt in sleep mode. My temps are fine, IDLE CPU at 31 - 33c GPU IDLE at 43c Powersupply fan IS working, and it's definitely not over heating. All case fans are running fine. The only thing I've changed in the past few days is I turned on OC GENIE 4 in the bios for my i5-9600k. This last time that my PC went off just before posting this, I disabled that and the RAM overclock. Even though I've never had problems with the RAM OC in the past. I've never used the OC GENIE for more than a few minutes for testing purposes in the past. I recently turned it on and kept it on for a few days for whatever reason. Maybe that's the problem? I did notice that I did have a PC sleep time to 30 minutes, and so I disabled that. I also went into device manager and made sure "Allow this device to wake up PC" was enabled for my M+KB. I'm praying that the problem was just my PC went to sleep, and my devices weren't allowed to wake it back up. I've also been having problems where my main monitor will go to sleep, I wake them back up and my secondary monitor only comes back on and my main keeps cycling through the input options. Last note. My PC also keeps booting on my secondary monitor instead of my primary--not a big deal but no idea why either. Please help if you can.
  8. So I built this PC early last year, but now I've got it so cluster effed with stuff and jam packed it needs a reset. I was negligent and didn't bother to keep it clean and make sure it stayed running well. My boot time seemed to increase nearly 7 seconds from when I first had it. IDK MY point is since this is a custom PC and I have 3 hard drives... can I safely use the "Reset This PC" option in the windows 10 recovery settings? https://gyazo.com/3ee5a37398520a15872334cf05639e02 Will it actually reinstall windows ITSELF? or do I need to make a windows backup on a USB?
  9. So here I am again.. I ran Unigine for about 30 minutes, on the max settings extreme or whatever 1920x1080, for the first 10 minutes or so my GPU stayed around 75 - 78c and then It seemed to max my GPU temp at 83/84 it was going back and forth between the two temps. Should I be fine with those temps? or tonight should I run it while I sleep or just don't even worry? I read that problems start after the 87c mark and anything below should be fine. and no I didn't get a link to my results I forgot how lol I clicked quit and it didn't give me any link or whatever so idk
  10. My GPU is an RTX 2060 and I'm idling at 45c. I recently took my PC apart and cleaned everything. When playing pretty intensive games it gets up to like 70 - 75c is this okay? Also with MSI afterburner my auto fan speed is on 40% I was thinking of adding a custom curve so that it stays around 40 at default and when it reaches 60c it goes to 50 - 60% and 80 or 90c it'll go to maybe 100%?

    Help?

So I have been having wifi problems for the longest time now, probably around the past 8 years of problems.. I have AT&T, I'm paying for their unlimited Internet 1000 plan... anyways I went to the control panel on google and I've noticed that there are these "amazon-20fcfefb2" devices that keep popping up... and they started out just a few and keep multiplying every now and then, anyways sometimes when I check maybe 1/2 of them are using all of my wifi.... all in green bars but the rest of my devices which I changed the names on and checked the ips to make sure it's not me are all in yellow/red bars.... I've googled searched the IP address and it takes me to some random address in my state.. anyways I'm just posting to ask what the hell are they? lol
  12. So I just built my pc earlier this year and everything was going fine and now my CPU is overheating for no reason... here is a screenshot of the benchmark on 3DMARK alongside CPUID.. Any help would be appreciated. https://pnrtscr.com/ck08e6
  13. Do these look okay for my build? Everything is stock on the PC, I ran 1080p at max settings. https://gyazo.com/226ea64b5be86cb9a272dc603c738753
  14. Okay so this sound keeps playing constantly... there is no notification, nothing, I don t have on sticky keys or anything I ve tried everything and looked everywhere to find what this sound is and where it s coming from...... I clipped the sound on twitch... this doesn't happen all the time... its random when it happens but it lasts for about 5 minutes each time sometimes more... it is literally driving me ♥♥♥♥ing crazy here is the clip and yes I've went into my windows sounds and tested them all to see if this noise was one of them, and it s not... Also, I've downloaded process monitor and added expections for .wav .mp3 .FLAC and .OGG files to monitor where the sound is coming from and nothing shows up when it plays... I've check Discord, and all my other apps to see if they have any notifications enabled but they dont, I don't keep anything open unless im using it... I also checked my task manager and nothing odd is there... everything looks normal.. please someone help
  15. Just built this setup, has a i5-9600k, ernermax cpu cooler, with 6 case fans everything is at stock speeds and the cpu is stock 3.7ghz I ran IntelBurnTest and I put to Very High load and it maxed out at 72 degrees and took 42 seconds to complete 1 run, I know the 9600k is more of a strict gaming cpu but I was just wondering if those were good temps... I run about 50 degrees celcius on witcher 3 1080p all Ultra 130+fps, my idle temps are 29 - 34 degrees Celcius
  16. Okay so I'm about to buy parts to build a new PC and I need help seeing if everything I bought would fit correctly? Case: INWIN Black ATX Mid Tower (Item Dimensions =18.9 x 17.5 x 8.7 in) Motherboard: MSI Z390-A Pro (Item Dimensions = 12 x 9.6 x 1.2 in) CPU cooler: DeepCool NEPTWIN (Item Dimensions = 7.09 x 8.98 x 6.5 in) GPU: MSI RTX 2060 Dual Fan (Item Dimensions = 8.9 x 5.1 x 1.6 in) PSU: Corsair CX 550W (Item Dimensions = 5.9 x 5.5 x 3.38 in) I know I probably have nothing to worry about the case handling these parts.. but I want to make sure that MID tower will be large enough for those items... I know it will fit the GIGABYTE Z370P D3 motherboard
  17. Alright thank you so much... saved me huh? Lol so the EVGA BQ are a no go for me?
  18. Alright cool I'll go with that ty.... I dont want a PSU over 80$ tho my budget is total of $1300
  19. I havent bought anything yet... and if you could reference me a good PSU I'd appreciate it
  20. Would a 500W PSU be enough for RTX 2060 /i5-9600k? or do I need to go with 600W?
