I don’t have a constant internet connection, the only place I have internet is at the library, and the PC’s there won’t run .exe files I do have plenty of USB sticks, but to use the creation tool I’d need a pc able to run exe files. does the Media Creation tool need admin privileges to run? thanks for responding so quickly, sorry I couldn’t answer sooner I have had windows 10 installed before, on a BarraCuda 500GB SSHD, the install worked fine, but the SSHD dies, so I replaced it with a WD Green 240GB, could that be causing any issues?

I have a Multi Edition Windows 10 install DVD, I burnt the DVD myself from an ISO file from my Ubuntu Desktop. I have used this disk on 2 other occasions, all without using a product key, and the install worked fine, but the SSHD that was in my laptop died, so I replaced it with a WD Green 240GB SSD, but no matter what I do, the install is ok until the laptop reboots, then it gets to ‘getting ready’ and freezes after about 20 seconds.
