  1. Good point! It turns out even though I ~thought~ I set the streaming quality to 1080p, Jellyfin keeps trying to stream 4k which explains the constant buffering. I will look into a way to enforce a 1080p max quality
  2. Hello! I have converted my old gaming pc into a ubuntu server to run docker containers and vms. Im currently running into performance issues as Jellyfin transcoding pegs my CPU at 100% load causing everything to freeze. Are there any simple upgrades or changes that would improve performance or should I look to get a new cpu/mobo/dedicated NUC? Example containers hosted: Jellyfin DNS/reverse proxy adguard portainer heimdall Specs: mobo: msi Z170A Gaming M3 CPU: i5-6600K Memory: 16GiB DDR4 2400 MT/s GPU: 2080 super (may remove as doesnt seem to be used) Storage: Currently old HDD drives as everything is saved/loaded from an ethernet attached Synology Nas
  3. Will the nr200 fit a 70mm thick gpu? Its listed up to 60mm. Definitely an interesting option if it works!
  4. Hello! Im looking for a quality small case that can handle a 3.5 slot gpu. I currently have an A4-SFX with a 2 slot 2080 super. I stupidly did not look at slot size or anything when getting my 3080 and now cannot fit in the case. I realize a 3.5 slot SFF is rare if it exists at all. What are some options that can still fit 3.5 slot? My card is the Aorus RTX3080 MASTER 10G Dimensions: L=319 W=140 H=70 mm
  5. Hey! im moving to the dan case a4 this week and need to get at least 1 m.2. I’m looking at around 1tb. I saw the WD 3D 1tb for $109. Is it good or should I be looking at a Samsung even though it’s $50+ more for the same 1tb. im looking at 1 now with the intention to get a second later. any help would be awesome!

  7. I am trying to see if this is realistic. I have a node 500 currently with 2 HDD and 2 SSDs. Im looking to upgrade to an RTX 2080ti but its a 2.7 slot gpu. Im getting a really good deal so I cant look at other 2080tis. Is there a case that is a similar size that can handle a 2.7 slot gpu and my 4 drives without being 40+ liters?
  8. This monitor looks awesome. I don't know much about AOC. Are they a good brand? I am just worried about down the road if they are reliable and good quality. Also is it okay since I have an RTX 2070 Super? I dont see it on the g-sync compatible list.
  9. What is everyone's thoughts of: Asus ROG Strix XG49VQ 49”? I know its 3840 x 1080 but is 144hz and around $200 under budget. Is it really worth going for the 1200 or 1440?
  10. Hey! So I am upgrading from my dual Samsung 27" curved monitors. I want to upgrade to something above 60hz and to an unltrawide but am unsure where to go. I have a hard budget at $1000. Any recommendations?
  11. Hello! I recently upgraded my rig to an itx build since I am moving around a lot. I will list my parts below. I tried to keep my Cryorig h7, but don't have the backplate for it and it does not look like it fits. I switched to amd4 cpu and need a compact cooler since space is limited. I have 2 intake fans and one out. I am currently using the stock cooler, but it is maintaining mid 70s and occasionally 80 when playing games. Im currently running it without the clam shell cover to help cool it down... Any help is much appreciated! My build: -mobo: ROG strix b450-i -cpu: ryzen 5 3600 -case: core 500 -gpu: Nvidia FE 2070
  12. It shows a single usb port and a button, but mine does not have that from what I can tell. Do I have to take my cpu out to get to the bios to update? I don't see a button to tell it to boot from the usb.
  13. How can I update it if the bios doesn't boot?
  14. Hi! I just started upgrading my build. I moved from ATX to mini ITX, so I got a new mobo, cpu and gpu (Listed at bottom). When I plug it in, the mobo's standby power led is always orange and never changes. The trouble shooting leds (boot, vga, dram, cpu) never light up. There is no beeping or anything like my ATX board did when there were problems. When I turn it on all of the fans run (case, cpu, gpu) and the rgb lights are always on. I have tried with both my known working gpu and my new rtx 2070 FE but nothing is working. It doesn't show the bios starting at all so I cant use delete to get to it and there is no output or sounds to say something is wrong. Im completely stumped. Parts: cpu: AMD ryzen 5 3600 mobo: ROG strix b450-i gaming ram: 2 x 8bg G.Skill DDR4 ripjaw V series gpu: gtx 1070 / rtx 2070 psu: EVGA 650 GQ 80+ gold semi modular storage: 2 x 2tb WD blue, sandisk 580gb ssd (boot drive), samsung evo 1tb ssd
