  1. Currently it is running at the speed of the slowest stick 2133mhz. I've also gotten a reply from a person on reddit who suggests that while different frequencys in single channel mode may not cause issues but when they are in dual channel that is when some issues may occur.
  2. I have actually not updated to F10, i updated to F5 back July. Im going to try this when i get home. ?????
  3. I just bought a new stick of ram to pair with my current HyperX 8gb 2133mhz stick (i bought this: https://www.amazon.ca/HyperX-Fury-Black-2666MHz-HX426C16FB2/dp/B06XNRXCV6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1547323069&sr=8-4&keywords=hyperx+ddr4) So i can benefit from dual channel ram but i get constant BSODs when in dual channel mode. My current specs: PSU: EVGA 550w+ Silver CPU: i7-7700k currently not overclocked Mobo: Gigabite z370p-d3 GPU: PNY GTX 1060 6gb RAM: Hyperx DDR4 2133mhz 8gb (old) HyperX DDR4 2666mhz 8gb (new) Problem started when i installed the new ram. The first BSOD i got was: IRQL_GT_Zero_at_System Service. While i was rebooting i got another BSOD: K_Mode_exception_not_handled. So i rebooted again after that i was greeted with windows recovery mode saying i had a kernel error. I removed the stick of ram and tried to boot again but kept getting sent to the same recovery error. So i was forced to reinstall windows 10. After i reinstalled i decided to put the second stick back in. I was again greeted with a new BSOD error: "Memory_Management". So i rebooted AGAIN and was sent back to recovery mode with a new error: "The operating system could not be loaded because a critical system driver is missing. File: \Windows\System32\Drivers\ql2300i.sys Error code: 0xc0000098. So i removed the stick and waited a couple of minutes and i was able to boot into windows again. This all only happens when my RAM is put into dual channel dimm slots. If i put the ram in Single Channel mode i will not have any errors or BSOD's while gaming. This is absolutely driving me crazy and i have no idea what to do now. I tested both sticks with memtest86x and they both passed. So im wondering if there is something i have to change in the bios of my Gigabyte z370p-d3 motherboard? Im at all ends here.
