  1. Ok, I actually solved this after some personal research.
  2. I will certainly try that; that seems like a possibility! My provider is called Red Pocket.
  3. I have the Samsung S20 FE 5G (model number: SM-G781U1/DS), which should support 5G network access but doesn't give that as an option in settings (see attached screenshot). My network provider has verified that my current plan supports 5g (although I don't have 5g coverage at my home), so I'm quite sure the problem is with my phone. I contacted Samsung support, and they had me reset my network settings, then clear a cache of some sort via the boot menu, and then recommended doing a factory-reset. I don't really want to do a factory reset at this point, especially since I am not convinced that will solve anything. What do you think? Is that in fact my only option at this point?
  4. I would probably get Canon's certified refurbished model. Canon refurbished equipment is in like-new condition and comes with the same warranty as their brand new equipment, all at often hundreds of dollars cheaper.
  5. Any reason for not sticking with a Chromebook? Unless Chrome OS just doesn't work for you, I'd recommend just purchasing a new Chromebook.
  6. Based only on the details you gave, I think the RP would be perfect for you. Unless there's a specific reason to choose the 6Dmii, I'd go with the RP for all the benefits only a mirrorless can provide.
  7. Check out the Asus Zenbook Pro 15 UX550GE. I need a laptop for similar purposes to yours and ended up going with this one. - Less than $1700 - 512GB PCIe SSD - Intel i7-8750H processor (hexa-core with Turbo Boost and 9MB cache) - 16GB DDR4 RAM - Nvidia 1050 Ti (4GB GDDR5 VRAM) - 15.6" 4K touch screen
  8. OK, I've just purchased the UX550GE, so I no longer need any advice.
  9. Pretty much... I'm wanting those specs for under 1700 USD, and the one other option was the Lenovo Yoga 720. I guess I'm going with the UX550GE.
  10. It rained the whole night, notwithstanding, the town was not flooded. I don't know! XD
  11. I'm currently comparing the Asus UX550GE and the Asus UX580GE. The only differences are: the UX550GE has a PCIe SSD and an Nvidia 1050ti while the UX580GE has a SATA SSD and an Nvidia 1050. Ignoring the price, would the difference between the two be noticeable for photo/video editing?
  12. The Lenovo Yoga C630 checks all of the boxes. https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/yoga/yoga-c-series/Yoga-C630-13Q50/p/88YGC601090
  13. For a DSLR, the following stabilizer would be a good budget option (I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WUCRVD0/ref=twister_B07GWRZHZL?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 However, with steadycams like this one, you'll have to practice before you'll be able to get high-quality results (as opposed to an electronic gimble system).
  14. There are a lot of options within that range... Maybe the new MSI PS63 would be a good fit for you. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1454925-REG/msi_ps63_modern_085_ps63_modern_i7_8565u_16gb.html
  15. It's funny, isn't it... Imagine not even wanting anything like that!
