  1. Thank you very much WoodenMarker for your answers on both posts! Actually found a youtube video of someone benchmarking both products I have, preapplied paste was 2 celsius lower than NT-H1! Never seen any recommandation on thermal compound durability!

The preapplied paste is good. You can just use it and replace the paste when needed.

  2. Just wondering if anyone ever tried this, I know 3x120mm fans can fit in the front, but if I install my H100i pro, I can't fit my other 120mm fan due to the radiator. was wondering if I could flip the fans on the other side of the radiator so i could mount the 3 fans directly in front of the case! giving me the 3x120mm I'd like as intake! I'll try it and post picture, really just wondering if someone has tried it, I'll check the topic tomorrow and update it aswell!

  3. Very small and short question, I bought the H100i pro, and some noctua NT-H1 thermal compound. Thing is there's allready some thermal compound on the heatsink, should I use the one supplied by corsair or wipe it clean with alcool and use the noctua one!?

  4. Check for intel M.2 the intel 660p, got one 500gb for 85$CAD a week ago. Might want to check for an AIO cooler, I'll let more experienced builders gives argument on this one, since I'm not sure those are really better... But u can slack on the 3200 Ram, ryzen do scale with faster ram, but intel doesnt really care, found some 3000 for 170$  CAD, 30$ right there for some fans if there's none included with your case!

  5. I already bought all the components, receiving the MoBo and the PSU next week.

    CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X

    CPU cooler: Corsair H100i pro

    MoBo: Asus crosshair vii

    RAM: 2x8gb 3200mhz ddr4 Corsair lpx ram

    GPU: GeForce RTX 2070

    SSD M.2: intel 660p 512GB

SSD: 256gb ssd from company dropped laptop

    HDD: Seagate 3tb

PSU: Corsair RMx 750w gold certified

    Case: Corsair carbide spec-06

    Monitor: Asus VG248QE

Now, just wondering what I should with the 120mm fan included on the front panel, knowing i'll put the cooler up front, was wondering if i should change the 120mm upfront to put in on top for an exhaust fan or intake, might put the fan of the PSU up if i use the one on top as intake. Moved the 120mm in the back all the way up. Was also wondering if I could fit the 120mm under the 100i pro and put two other 120 on top. but If i do that, will I have not enough exhaust fan?
