  1. I see this thread is kinda old, but wanted to ask if you got this sorted?
  2. True, but doesn't ryzen perform horrendously with slower ram?
  3. All you usually need is a receipt from a company like JBhifi for example however when I got my card which is a 1070 dual the person I purchased it from told me all you need is the box and sticker on the actual card. make sure you completely reinstall your driver first, if that doesn't work uninstall driver and reinstall older driver. If still no avail just RMA the card. Best of luck with the issue and I hope it gets sorted smoothly. Have a great day, and happy Australia day!
  4. Yes it's possible! They have the same socket. Considering the CPU is older your mobo might also be. Make sure that your board supports DDR4 as I'm pretty sure you need it for ryzen as it works way better. I'm not 100 percent sure however I heard that you need good ram for ryzen. Also for the drivers, not sure how it works but it's probably going to update it's drivers.
  5. After reading properly, this may be related to your graphics card. Try to swap graphics card and see if that works or try on board graphics if it's there. Once again I had a very similar description where I had faint purple sections, I reseated my GPU, that didn't work so then I rolled back my driver and that worked.
  6. Hey man, hope you're doing well, I also had an issue of the sort but my games.would stutter then freeze where I had to ctrl alt del and press sign out to get it working again. This happened after the newest driver update on GeForce experience. I rolled back the driver to the one prior and everything is fine now. Try that and see if it works, also make sure you check your temperatures to make sure your parts aren't thermal throttling. Best of luck!
  7. Hi, i am having an issue with my RGB strips where they take about half an hour after the pc turns on for them to turn on. they dont function at all until they turn back on. I went on holidays last week and turned my pc off from its power supply and un plugged it just to be safe, when i came home a few days ago this issue has been happening everytime i turn it off and turn it back on again. I have re-plugged the controller and still no fix. the strips are deepcool 350 i believe. My PSU is a 600w Thermaltake TR2. I know its not a good PSU however these strips never acted at like this for the past year or so i have had them. I am also aware of a bios update and unsure if that would fix it. Any help is appreciated, i am sending my PC in for a case swap on friday and will probably wait but just want to know if i need a replacement or not. Thanks!
