  1. If anyone could point me in the direction of a calendar and scheduling system that could hopefully include a touch screen that is not just an app for a tablet or phone. I'm looking for a screened system that would hang on the wall, about the size of a large tablet up to a small television looking for slim design not connected to a pc.
  2. Hey could use some help picking out a laptop for daily driving at home. I need something that I can use to help the kids get through school and also be used around the shop for minor projects planning like SketchUp and similar programs. I live in Canada and I'd like to hopefully keep it under $1,500, way under if possible.
  3. looking to replace my current router (tp-link ac750 model: archer c2) with something with a bit more range and power. I live in a house where some of the inner walls and floors are concrete the house is 90' by 25' with a basement and the router is in the center upper floor. Bit out of my league here, suggestions are welcome, would consider mesh.
  4. I'm looking to build a gaming rig for AAA games at 2k, also capable of running [some] 3d printing cad sofware, and web browsing using AMD ryzen. Not interested in RGB but I wouldn't refuse a good piece if it had. because i'm new to bulding i need some help with the quality/prefomance/price of the components i'm going to use i have a rough idea but need help ironing it out. First i'm from Canada buget 2500 to 3500 CPU: Ryzen 7 AM4 3700X (this was recommended to me but would I need to go higher?) Motherboard: Asus Prime x570-P Mobo Memory: TridentZ 32GB 3200Mhz CL16 gskill PSU: Corsair TX850W gold GPU: EVGA 2070 Super Black Gaming 8GB M.2 SSD: AData XPg SX8200 1TB WD Black 2TB HDD Case: Corsair Obisidian 750D (optional - I like this one but I'm not too picky, but I do want a full-size case) Monitor: still looking - any recommondations? High res, 2k gaming, 24-32" I have a mouse and keyboard None of these parts are set in stone so if you have other recommondations I'd love to hear them.
  5. Alright so, this is what I have so far that I am salvaging. -seagate barracuda 1 tb hdd ST1000DM003 -Thermaltake smartm 750w 80 bronze -Asus Geforce GTX 970 4gb (upgradeable) So my budget is 2000 $CAD (don't need to spend it all) I game mostly, playing witcher 3, doom and, Lara croft shadow of the tomb raider, I would like to do some 3d modeling for metal working projects. I have peripherals, the monitor is a asus 27" at 1080p I have to be honest my pc building skills are lackluster at best, i only have a slight idea of where i want my rig to go, i'm not a AMD or Intel fanboy so if the price is fair i'll go either way, the asus 970 will be upgraded later to possibly a 1080ti, the case can be minimalist without RGB, just need good airflow with filters. I'll take performance over looks anyday, everything else is up for debate, any help is very welcomed and appreciated.
