already did that one time since it wulden boot to start up with. removed 1 stick and no problems. but since the one stick dosent work (even in the single slot the working one is in now) i presume it the stick over the CPU. thanks for the quick reply tho my man. much appreciated

My old PC died due to power surge. long story short. i got a new mobo, CPU and PSU but the new Mobo wont boot with 1 of the ram sticks (no matter what slot it's in) but i had no problems on the old mobo with the ram. Old mobo Z170 pro gaming New mobo b550-f rog strix gaming Ram -> Corsair Vengeance 2400 CL 16 2x8g did the stick go bad or what is going on?

my CPU also does it. but only at a hard load. GPU on the other hand just goes to 100% when i open a new tab in chrome or open a random low load program like word

What ever program i open just brings my 1080 to it's knees. it just startet since last night and i have no clue what culd be the problem. i did a virus can and it came back clean. i5-6600k Gtx 1080 Asus Z170 PRO Gaming

i have looked thru alot of post here about ram and mobo for 5600x but most turned in to intel vs amd fights or just went off track. im going to upgrade my 6600k to a 5600x and was wondering what Mobo and ram to pait it with. im not sure if im going to OC since a all core OC will hurt single core performance (look at Der8auer's video) was thinking of going with: Mobo: MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk Ram: 3600 Mhz 16 CL kit. Steve from gamers nexus tried 2 vs 4 stick of Ram. but it's so much more ekspressive to buy? is it worth it?

SP120 Performance Editions. bought a 5 way splitter with molex. cost the same as a 3 way splitter without molex any way. only 2 pins. so PWM shuld work so now its just what header i shuld use

Got 3 SP120 PWM fans im going to install in the front of my case. want them to follow my cpu temp since it's the slowest part of my rig. shuld i put them in CPU fan header or the normal fan headers? shuld i used 1-3 pwm with or without molex? 6600k - 4,3Ghz gtx 1080 Asus Z170 pro gaming

The fans that are in ATM do make some noise. Got an air filter in the front and was thinking that the top part of the case might be better utilised, since there is less dust. Also my 960 hit 78°C at 1440p rocket leauge on low.

Going to upgrade my 960 to a 1080 and was thinking about buying some new fans for the case. Got a h440 nzxt case. The fans I got atm. Are the one that came with the case (3x120mm in the front and 140mm in the back) Got space for 3x120 or 2x140 in the top of the case. Was also thinking of buying new fans for intake and exhaust, since the ones you get with case sucks (no pun intended) don't care for RGB.
