Little tip when installing fresh. Only connect the drive you're putting windows on, then it's no chance of clearing the wrong drive.
And update your motherboard bios before installing windows, just to be safe. Got trouble with an intel PC updating bios this weekend

Sometimes there isn't a news site source, because they haven't seen it yet, or picked up the leak yet. So one can't break news here on the most sought after monitor in years, that many have been waiting over 2 years for?

Sometimes not everything falls within guide lines.

Looks like the Asus PG35VQ is coming in the end of Juni. Has god date 21 and 26 in two of the biggest PC shops in Norway, with the same price.
Price should equal to $2900 USD, even if the conversion rate says something else. Normal is 10-11 times the USD price for prices in Norway because of high taxes (25% consumer tax on everything but food.)

The Asus is almost 1000,- NOK cheaper than the Acer X35 price released on Proshop a couple of weeks ago.

Every manufacturer has Products that break, it just happends. Doesn't mean everything they make is bad, just because Yours had a fault.
Just replaced my daily PC which had a Gigabyte motherboard, and after 6 years of daily use, it had been the most reliable hardware I have ever had. Never had a hickup With it. Even had 2 different Gigabyte GPUs too, never had problem. Have had Asus motherboards that have been unstable. But don't hold everything they make as bad for that. I just bought 2 New motherboard from them, With no problems this far.

Excange Your GPU With a New, you should get it replaced for free, and if that one has the same fault, then you can complain.

no problem. have used a combination of DP, HDMI and DVI over time.

The only problem I have encountered is if I turn of the DP display, og change the input on it, the PC thinks the monitor is removed, and alters the other screen.
If I do the same with the monitor with the HDMI, it keeps everything the same, and still thinks the HDMI monitor is up and running.
Have been a "problem" since I use 2 PCs with the same setup.

Depends on your usage, resolution and personal preference. If 1080p, I would advise sticking to 24" as I find 27" a bit too big for 1080p.

If you only need wifi, just take out the SIM card, and Verizon won't know where you are.
You will only be charged when you call out, or some one calls you. The same with data rates. If you have your phone in airplane mode, outside of wifi, you won't get any charge.

If you have both the motherboard and CPU, just test it. It won't break.

It's weird that this still is a problem. Should have been a way to run bios for update with. There must be alot that has had this problem through the years. Especially with AMD before Ryzen. Had the same issue when I was buying an AM3+ platform. AM3+ socket and AM3+ CPU needed a bios update, but no way of doing it without buying a cheap CPU that nobody had in stock. Sent it back, and got a Intel setup instead. Which worked since they switched sockets often so this issue was alot less likely to happend.

That why I ordered a Ryzen build now, and not next year.

AndersT2 got a reaction from CodingWithClass in DAC audio vs Motherboard audio
The only way to find that out sadly is to compare them. Audio and difference between them can be non or alot depending on who's listening. I could say you would hear a big difference, but you might not, because Your ears can tell the difference, and maybe mine can. So the only way you will know is if you try yourself, and see if you'll hear any differance.

I have found out in the later years that I can easier hear the differance between sound Equipment when I understood what I should listen for to find the differance.

I have a Schiit headphone amp, and are really happy With it, but uses it With a Asus pci soundcard (Essence STX), and prefers it over the build in headphone amp on the Asus card, even if they use the same dac for their signal.

It would work fine. Could also recomend looking into a PC speaker setup with sub for that price. Their not as bad as one should think. I'm often supriced over a couple of cheap Logitech I have, and how fun they are to listen to, even compared to my livingroom setup with real floorstanding speakers many many times the price of the Logitech set.

It can be fixed another way to. Use a thin plexi plate, and cut it so it fits. It will be a lot of work, but then the plate can be painted any color you'd like.

Isn't most 1080p 144Hz screens still TN panels? I personally would never go back to a TN panel for framerate

But the answer to your question is, do you prefer smooth gameplay or good looking graphics? If you game for fun, a 3440x1440 monitor would be perfect  for great graphics for years to come, even with a future graphics card upgrade in a few years. To take advantage of the higher Hz, you'd have to be a pro-gamer, or thinking you are one.

Seems like you also asked the question on the programs own forum, where you got the best answer: https://affinity.serif.com/forum/index.php?/topic/4978-support-of-dual-gpu-new-mac-pro/?p=21092

You'll need more CPU cores, the program don't use the GPU that much.
And getting more cores are a question on how much money you want to spend, All from a 6 core Ryzen or Intel CPU, up to dual or quad Xeon CPUs.

EDIT: Maybe I was a bit fast there, the post that was linked was to dual GPUs. Seems like in the specs that it DirectX 11, so it seems to have some use for a GPU. If you have seller near you that have a return policy, you could buy one, and test it. If it doesn't help, then return it: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/designer/full-feature-list/#system-requirements

Only thing you really need to know about TN is: "Never buy a TN monitor".
Look up TechQuickies video on it, and you'll see the horrible viewing angels on it, and the horrible colors.

The LG monitor you did get, it what I call a "sweet spot" for monitors. It's not to big, not to small, and the resolution is just right for most things, and the aspect ratio is perfect for games.
