  1. Do you possibly still have the wattman profile saved? If so can you upload it to this forum?
  2. What exactly did you use to set it to auto? I’ve been messing around with msi afterburner to try to solve the issue.
  3. With installing the graphics card I got a new ssd and decided to just start from scratch and install a clean copy of windows onto it.
  4. I did that last night, I noticed that the issues stopped occurring a lot less. But it still occurs everyonce in a while.
  5. I haven't had the issue in the last hour. I think I fixed it by going into msi afterburner and turning power limit to 50% higher.
  6. Oh okay, I was either thinking it was the graphics card, motherboard, or psu. Thanks for the help. I can probably find a cheap 650 watt. Update: Just received the same issue. Even with a new thermal take 600-watt power supply.
  7. Yes, I have tried that like 5 times now using amd cleanup tool and each time I reinstalled different drivers each time.

Issue - So I recently upgraded from my Radeon 6850 HD 1gb to the graphics card listed above and I was experiencing issues with the 6850 and got the new card yet to find more issues. Those issues being that I receive tons of error codes in my event viewer logs. But most importantly, the monitor has been almost like disconnecting from the graphics card for about 3 seconds and turns back on. Whenever this happens, whatever I am currently running that requires the graphics card stops responding. The error code I keep getting with this is, "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered." Below are some other error codes I have been getting, but not all. Kernel PNP event id 225.txt Application Error 1000.txt
