  1. Hello everyone, I am looking for recommendations for a work/gaming laptop. Work is related to heavy programing software and gaming I would like to have the most available for the budget. My absolute top budget is about 1900 but it would only be for exceptional things, best would be as close to 1500 as possible. I am located in Mexico so best buy is not an option for me I adjusted budget and prices to US if relevant. An important note is that it must have intel, 16gb ram and windows, these are work requirements and cannot be changed. Currently I am between: Dell G5 15" (I found it for $1648.76) (33,299 mxn) i7 10th gen 16gb RAM 512GB SSD RTX 3060 Lenovo Legion 5i 15" (found for $1826.96) (36,899 mxn) i7-10750H 2.60GHz 16gb RAM 1TB Hdd + 128 SSD RTX 2060
  2. Just thought putting that currency would be easier to reference from different countries
  3. 500 dollars US approximatley I dont mind going a bit over budget, its more or less to give me an idea
  4. Budget (including currency): 10,000 mxn more or less Country: Mexico Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Design Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): First time computer buyer/builder Hello everyone I'm looking to build a pc, mainly I will use it for design purposes (photoshop, light gaming, drawing, light video editing etc) I have no idea what to look for or where to focus my budget the most on. Of course, the less I spend the better. Also, I'm not looking for the highest performance but certainly I would like a good bang for buck kind of thing. If I could include the monitor and peripherals (mouse and keyboard) that would be ideal but not mandatory for now. Thanks in advance!
  5. Hello everyone, I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU in accordance to my CPU to cause the least bottlenecking possible. My current setup is as follows: CPU: i5 3470 RAM: 16GB XPG ADATA 1600MHZ SSD: 240GB KINGSTON HDD: 1 HDD 1 TB and 1 HDD 500GB Power Supply: COSAIR CX600M MOBO Motherboard: LENOVO Thinkcentre M92P TOWER SPEC GPU: GTX 760 I'm currently looking at the following possible GPUs: RX 580 GTX 1660 Considering prices and overall sustainability in coming years (planning on upgrading CPU and Motherboard in a few more months), I'm leaning towards the RX 580, but I would love any suggestions anyone may have. Thanks in advance!
  6. Wow thanks for the nice build! Although I was thinking on using my current setup but just changing the gpu to the rx 580. Would the bottleneck be too much?
  7. Would it be a good idea to buy an rx 580 in this case? It would be a while for me to build a whole new pc haha
  8. Hello everyone, I have a Lenovo think entre m92p motherboard and and I was wondering if anyone knows if it is compatible with an rx 5700 gpu and ryzen 5 3600 processor. I'm planning on upgrading those components. I currently have a gtx 760 and an i5 3470. I've been looking around the internet for a bit but couldn't find much on this. My priority is really upgrading the gpu but I was also wondering if it would be worth upgrading the cpu, hence the pair and question of compatibility. Thanks in advance!
  9. Ooo I hadn't considered the rx 5500,thanks very much for the suggestion!
  10. But for the price and year we are at is it worth buying it? I mean 1080 is way higher up the wallet scale
  11. Hello everyone I was looking to upgrade my graphics card which is a gtx 760 and I found a gtx 1060 6gb going for $160. I was wondering if it was worth it considering it's 2019,or maybe I should save more money for a gtx 2060? Thank you in advance!
  12. Thanks a lot! Will look into those and explore
  13. Hello everyone, I'm kind of new to the pc building scene and I'm looking to build a budget pc for gaming, not looking for super high end or anything like that, as expected from budget gaming. Right now I got my hands on a gtx 760 ti so I wanted to build around that card but don't know the optimal way to go for other components. I would really appreciate any help!
