Hi, I have a mechanical keyboard, and after googling, it seems that it's a pretty common error that windows chooses an "ND-Tech USB Adapter" driver for many brands of mechanical keyboards.
Ok, simple fix. Device Manager -> Reinstall/Update drivers -> Choose the correct one.
The problem is, after EACH windows update, my keyboard stops working and I have to repeat these steps.
Is there a way to NOT have windows constantly revert the drivers to the ND-Tech Adapter?
And what the hell is this adapter anyway? A google for this.... Just shows people having problems with mechanical keyboards... It would appear (maybe erroneously) that The Mechanical Keyboards are much more common than this Adapter So much so that I can't seem to find any information for. So why the hell is this the default option windows goes to for those mechanical keyboards?

Unrelated rant:
There are so many things I hate about microsoft and their support ,customer service and design philosophy. I have avoided them whenever possible After one year when I had THREE of their products break WITHIN A MONTH after their warranty ended (one product within a week!) and basically got no support and shit customer service. Most other major brands will say ok, obviously it's still a defect, are reasonable and will still fix it....
Yes, I can go linux - or even go apple (-which definitely have their own problems, some worse than windows) but realistically and practically, there are just No equal alternative for many niche applications, and niche functions. --It's the same reason why "creatives" tend to stick to Apple and iOS-- There are whole ecosystems and software history and trends that have huge inertia preventing change...
