For some apparent reason the recovery partition is located on my hard drive rather than my SSD. Yesterday, I upgraded my M.2 SSD to the Samsung 860 EVO 250GB. Before I disassembled the laptop, I backed up my stuff. I went to reformat my HDD, and rebooted. I am greeted with this message under the Dell boot logo “Please wait” then progresses to select your keyboard layout and a bunch of recovery options. What is happening? What is causing this? Also, my HDD is disk 0 and my SSD is disk 1. By the way everything is working fine as of now. It’s just every time I format the HDD it makes the SSD unbootable. I noticed the windows boot manager is missing.
Thanks,
Matthew.
