  1. I assume there's no way to remove this folder from Windows?
  2. The first thing I did was to uninstall it but all those folders remained and this one if full of files I previously had in OneDrive and it's taking up space on my SSD for no reason since I don't use OneDrive anymore.
  3. Well, if I'd knew before.. now it's done. Seriously, no other way to remove the damn thing directly from Windows? Would I cause any additional issues if I'd remove it with Linux live or something?
  4. Because I don't use OneDrive anymore and it's taking up a lot of SSD space.
  5. I followed the instructions for completely removing OneDrive in Windows 10 (if you Google "completely remove OneDrive") from various websites. Most of the things I've done are described here (https://techjourney.net/disable-or-uninstall-onedrive-completely-in-windows-10/). There is no trace of it left except one thing... the folder "C:\Users\myusername\OneDrive" which is full of my OneDrive content and if I want to delete it it says "Access Denied" and there's no way to claim ownership of the folder. Even with "rd "%UserProfile%\OneDrive" /Q /S" command in cmd (Admin) I get the access denied. What's going on here? Any ideas how to remove this folder?
  6. A long time ago I disabled and uninstalled OneDrive from Windows 10. Recently I started using it again but no matter what I do I can't get the OneDrive link icon in the File Explorer. I did everything mentioned here. If I click OneDrive icon in the tray and then click "Open folder", this is what I get (see attached file). Notice in the right panel, instead of OneDrive link icon the active selection is on "Desktop" even though the opened folder is OneDrive as you can see in the path bar on the top. To recap, OneDrive is properly installed on my computer, it works, there's a folder in "C:\Users\....\OneDrive" but no matter what I do I can't get the shortcut link in the File Explorer where it was by default. Any ideas?
  7. I know there are many variables that can have an effect on temps. All that you're asking is important. But my question is a little bit different, I just didn't formulate it very well. I'm wondering how much will a different cooler affect the temps, whatever the base number is. Can there really be that much of a difference between those coolers? To answer your questions: What case do you use? Cooler Master Force 500 Midi-Tower. How many fans do you have installed? How are they configured? One at the back and one on the cooler. What is the typical ambient temperature in the room? Around 24°C. Did you install the cooler correctly? It was installed where I bought the computer 3 years ago and it seems it's working correctly. How did you achieve your current OC? In BIOS I changed the clock and voltage. Did you change the voltage? Yes. to 1.220V I'd like to stay on air coolers. Budget is whatever.
  8. I have i7 4790k @ 4.5GHz and a be quiet! Dark Rock 3 cooler (not Pro!). Temps can go up pretty high under load, even over 80°C. Many others with the same processor can go higher with OC, up to 4.8GHz on air cooling and hardly reach 70°C - for example with Dark Rock Pro 4 or CRYORIG R1 Ultimate. If I OC even to 4.6GHz the temps can reach 90°C under heavy load which is way too high. I'm wondering did I lose the chip lottery or can mentioned coolers really be that much better?
  9. Interesting. So TV resolutions by itself are not the reason for washed up image colors. There must be something else than. I would say it's the monitor but since it works perfectly on DVI-DP cable it's obviously not it. Maybe it's just something wrong with the DP-DP cable. I'll try to replace it and see what happens. If anybody has any other idea I'm open to any other suggestions.
  10. I got it! If I have monitor connected via DisplyPort-DisplyPort cable then the computer thinks it's HD TV and sets native resolution in HD section in Nvidia Control Panel. I happen to had a DVI-DisplayPort cable and tried connecting the monitor with that one. The picture is perfect! The native resolution with this cable is in PC section as it should be. Before I switched cables I also changed the resolution to one not native but in PC section. The picture was fuzzy and the proportions were wrong but no washed out image, blacks were black, so it was about if the native resolution is in HD or in the PC section. The only problem now is that there is no sound via that cable. How can I convince the computer that my monitor is not TV if I use DP-DP cable? What to do so the native resolution in NVCP appears under PC and not TV?
  11. Not yet. If I connect my old monitor (also 1920x1080) it displays beautiful image and the resolution is listed under PC.
  12. The resolution is 1920x1080. The problem is washed out image, especially blacks are not black at all but kinda gray. No setting on the monitor itself helps, I have all on standard, default. I accidentally once put one of the old monitors on HD instead of PC resolution and experienced something similar. I know but why is it under HD and not PC? I explained above why I want it on PC, since it's a PC monitor. Maybe that's not the issue for the washed out image but that's the only difference I was able to find between my 6 years old cheap Samsung" monitor that displays perfect image and the new "should be much better ASUS" monitor on which the screen looks like it has semi-transparent white overlay over it. I'm not at home right now but I can post an image of the screen in a few hours if you think that would help.
  13. I don't know whether to put this here or under GPU section. I just bought a new ASUS VN289Q monitor. Out of the box, the colors are very washed out and blacks are more like gray than black. I noticed that in NVIDIA Control Panel under "Change resolutions" my native resolution is under HD section (for TVs) and not PC section. I suspect that's the reason but why is there no native resolution under PC section since it's a PC monitor? Is there a way to fix that? I use Win10, my GPU is RTX 2080 Ti and I use DP-DP cable to hook it up. Here's how the settings look: https://imgur.com/a/xlMuPok . I already reinstalled Nvidia drivers. I seriously have no idea what's the issue here. Any help would be much appreciated!
