Just looked into that and I think I'll go that route, seems like the perfect excuse to buy a Raspberry Pi

Thats crazy, professional grade cinematography has gotten so cheap these days.

I've seen decently color graded footage shot in V-log on even cheaper Panasonics that looks like a scene from freaking Lord of the Rings.

I'm confident the right people can use a S1H in combination with much more expensive gear and we'd never see it stand out.

Unrelated to this camera getting certified I've also worried about the quality of some of Netflix's inhouse productions.

I could get an RTX 2080 and a GTX 1070 folding. If I don't forget by then.
Quick question, do people still fold on CPU's? Last time I folded it was on an Phenom 1090t and people didn't really use GPU's for it then.

I work for a Belgian retailer, we still haven't gotten our 3900X we ordered on launch day. Keeps getting delayed. I've been keeping an eye on stock with other retailers in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg and I've seen like 3 webshops have a bit of stock shortly after launch and only Alternate having some stock for the past few weeks. At the moment no one has any in BE or NL.
    So yeah, there's a shortage.

The pump is a D5 and here it is bundled with a glass reservoir which I thought was really cool since my last custom loop got thrown out when my plexi res cracked.
It is quite big though and I didn't find precise enough dimension to be sure it would fit.

The pump/res combo fits between the white aesthetic metal ribbon thingy which was a huge relief. I used a 280 rad instead of a 360 in the front just because it would have a bigger chance of clearing the case.
The slots for mounting 140mm are not just holes but like longer slits, however it was not possible to move the rad more up or down since there where always some holes that would line up.

Anyway at this point I decided to keep the H700 and not wait for the H710 since I just could wait anymore before starting to build my new rig

I asked EK what their thoughts are on current CPU waterblock designs and the layout of the new zen2 CPU’s and apparantly they are testing that out.
Might be interesting to some of us.

It's not the memory controller, the IMC is the same across all of them. The difference comes from the half width IF link between the CCD and IOD meaning asymmetric bandwidth, with 2 CCDs meaning 2 IF links to the IOD it is possible to saturate the IMC/memory bandwidth for writes.

AMD did this to lower power consumption of the IOD otherwise it would eat in to the power budget for the CPU cores causing lower clocks.

As to the rumor, I doubt it. AMD doesn't want to have imbalanced products, like Ryzen 1000/2000. Probably an anomaly with the test software.

I think for KSP you'd be better with an 9700K, but I wouldn't recommend buying into the Intel ecosystem right now...
Tbh if price/performance is all you're after, go with the 3600 non X and enjoy that superb value

Yeah seems to me like its technically possible but depends on signal degradation and such.

I also notice that mATX mobo's fair better with 4.0 than ATX and EATX motherboards, might be an issue with the length of the traces?

Also Der8auer tested the chipset consumption and if I'm not mistaken the power usage difference between no PCIe 4.0 devices connected and many PCIe 4.0 devices connected is marginal. So there might be another reason that x570 is running hot.

Can confirm that in Belgium the cards got a price drop before they reach the retailers.
Our supplier just contacted us saying both cards are now 50€ cheaper before tax than they were announced.
