  1. do you know the model name of a 120mm version thats high performance
  2. no im fine with out the rgb stuff
  3. So im going to buy a new case as that my old case didn't work probably . i already decided on my new case the very popular lian li o11 dynamic. im going to buy new fans as that the ones they come with the case are ok but not great. im thinking other corsair fans to match up with my all in one 360mm radiator or going noctuna all the way and buying 9 fans. what your guys and girls opinions something that is pretty good in performance but also decent in aesthetics.
  4. ya it seems like i will have to return it for a refund
  5. so i broke my usb 3.0 header on my mother board and on my front panel hub i dont know for sure how this happened but think has to do with manufacturing issue as that i try to un plug it and was realy hard to unplug and bent the pins on the part coming from the mother board and the whole connector part from that stuck onto the mother board i bought it from a third party market place seller for the mother board so i dont know if they sold me a bad batch or something any ways looking to now if i should replace this with my warranty or try and fix guessing replace part of it looks like this https://www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/pict/223355340197_/USB-30-20pin-Male-to-Female-Extension-Adapter.jpg and the other part looks like this https://linustechtips.com/main/uploads/monthly_2018_01/27329679_1588598681176572_691320863_o.jpg.0701cf288f5dd410d6a4b9614e458a85.jpg these are form google not my own pc the board is the z370-e from asus https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/6211/6211754_sd.jpg;maxHeight=640;maxWidth=550 and the case is the 570x from corsair https://cdn.cnetcontent.com/syndication/mediaserver/inlinecontent/all/7a2/3f5/7a23f5533e4a835a19def1880c8100c8/original.png to say this was a bad first time experience on my first build is true and also is wondering if this happens a lot hopefully not and i just got bad luck so for the rush also just kinda upset and sad

  9. for the 6950x i would get something better than the 212 if thats what your saying
  10. ya the stock cooler isnt so good on the ryzen 5 2600 i would go with the hyper 212 for better performance or another more pricey after market cooler if you plan on doing something past that 3.9 boost clock which dont think you are cause this is not realy an extreme overclocking kinda chip and one other re consideration when reply thermal paste i would recommend isopropyl alcohol and industrial grade paper towel also i know this wast relay an reply to your main concern and question but the thermal paste most likely isnt your problem with overclocking its most likely that cooler i would expect but if you that concerned about the proper Technic not to little not too much gamer nexus covered this topic and found no difference in thermal when applying different Technics such as dot x thin spreed etc
  11. thanks ya sorry didn't know what you meant there thanks for the advice
  12. Yes it should be enough unless you decide to upgrade to something like 2070 or 2080 more ram 16 gb and something like 2600 in the future.
  13. it depends on if your going for a budget build i would recommend amd if you want best of the best and dont care about price intel
