  1. @SpookyCitrusI see what you mean. I guess I will just go with a fresh windows install, just to be safe. Thanks everyone !
  2. @SpookyCitrus thank you for the advice. Re-installing windows is definitely the last resort I have. However I have many important documents on my windows which I dont want to go hassle of moving into another USB/HArd drive and then moving back in. @tkitch I have tried for a Full scan as-well. The scan is stucked at "Estimated time remainign 00:00:00" and "0 files scanned".
  3. So I tried running in safe mode. The "Virus and Threat" protection seems to be working, but the quick scan does not seem to work since its on safe mode.
  4. Hi Guys! Can someone help me get a malware out form my PC. It seems I cannot access my "Virus & Threat Proection" from my windows. A screenshot has been attached. I have also attached a screenshot of a scan that I have done with Malware bytes, but even after removing the detected malwares, I still have the viruses coming up. From what I have narrowed down is the virus has something to do with my Google Chrome. But I just dont know how to get rid of it. Kindly please help.. and THANKYOU!
  5. Deleted both files and rebooted. The cmd pop up screen stopped poping up. Downloaded the adwcleaner, but detected 2 items (ss posted below). However, I dont think they are relevant to the virus I had. If thats all. A very huge thank-you for your help. May you be blessed sir.!
  6. I think I almost have it solved.. 1. terrible sorry for the ss from Malwarebytes, After i qurantined it, there was an option called "delete" I just pressed on it and all the infected (38 files) got removed. 2. The third option might have worked, I have uncheked the "hide protected operating systems files" and now I can see the "rahatji" file as shown in the ss below. Now, do I delete both the files or do I have to do something else?.. just making sure before I delete anything wrong.
  7. Hi there xAcid9, thankyou for helping me out here. So these are the followings that I have done so far. 1) Downloade Malwarebytes, they found about 38 issues and then I "qurantined" it ( as given by the antivirus ) 2) The thing doesnt show up on my startup manager. So I cant disable it. 3) I launched my windows in Safe mode, but still cant find the file ( with show hidden files turned on ) , on C:/ users/ farhan2/appdata/roaming , cant find the files there. Are there any alternatives ? except reinstalling my windows all over again?
  8. Hello there, So recently I had installed something and it caused my windows to pop up the cmd bar every now and then for like just a split second .. and then pops out instantly before I can have a look what it is. Luckily a while ago I took a ss of what was popin up.. SS shown below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. @narrdarr thankyou soo very much.. um really out of words to thank you for. it worked. Had to reset BIOS ( aka clear cmos ) and it worked within an instant. Everyone who had replied. Thankyou for your support and very much appreciated.
  10. @narrdarr hmm i couldn't find how to enable xmp from bios yet.. @fasauceome I have matched both of their bus speed and all. And when i place both rams, the dimm only shows one. Either Slot 1 or slot 2.. but not both.. Its my mobo thats not detecting. I would be less worried if it was an issue with my operating system.
  11. Hello everyone. So um kinda new here, and um in desperate need of help.. So heres what happened I had a 4gb ram ( DDR 4 ) and i bought another 4gb ( DDR4) to go with it [ Different brands ]. However, My mobo unfortunately isnt recognizing one of them when i try to run them together.. Things I have tried so far 1) Tried to run my PC with each ram individually.. Both works 2) Tried placing each ram individually on different slots .. Both works 3) The ram is compatible with my mobo.. and yes, both ram has the same DDR and bus speed. 4) If i place my old ram on SLOT 1 and new ram on SLOT 2.. my PC doesnt start . However, vice-versa works, but one of them doesnt respond. My mobo: Gigabyte H110M-DS2V-CF
